Seeing an opening, Jason walked over to Gabby, Ice was next to him as he walked over. "He was here" he said to her in a low tone so only she heard him. Ice watched Gabby at the same time, then looked over to the other firefighters. Jason kept his eyes on Gabby while Ice did that, mentally kicking himself that he was unable to stop him, not letting his frustration show. Ice sensed it as he stood there with him. Jason was about to speak up when Herrmann walked over and started getting on her. Ice looked over to him and growled a bit at this new person. Jason spoke in German for Ice to heal when he did that. Herrmann looked at Jason and Ice when that happened, realizing that something was off.
Jason looked at Herrmann as he stood there, seeing the look on the older man's face. It wasn't lost on Jason that he would make an off color remark about him being there. Ice closely watched Herrmann as he stood next to Jason.

Gabby suddenly felt a shiver run down her spine as Jason told her the guy had been there. This really was a nightmare she was in and there wasn’t a damn thing she could do to stop it. Then all she needed was Herrmann getting at her as all she felt like doing was screaming at the man, this was no time to be being treated like a candidate. Not when there was a crazy guy on the loose who had only who knew what intent toward her. She didn’t imagine it would be fluffy bunnies and unicorns. Gabby looked between the two men, well it didn’t take a genius to know that the entire situation could go south at any point.
“Herrmann, don’t tell the others but you know that guy that’s been hanging around me.” She said in way of an explanation, she didn’t want to use the term stalker as that just made her more on edge though that was exactly what the guy was. “Well I told Officer McGuire about it before shift today, Jason just told me that he was here.” She left a beat before she looked back toward Jason, “This is Chris Herrmann my training fire fighter and what do I do about this. Do we even know who it is?” She asked Jason as she folded her arms around herself a little.

Jason nodded a bit when Gabby said that, keeping his cool while Ice kept his eyes on Herrmann. "I talked with an informant of mine who let me know that he had seen what he described as a rather disturbing and off looking man near the abandoned warehouse he lives in.....much like the one in the photos you showed me." he replied. Chris looked at Jason when he said that, then rolled his eyes a bit. "Shouldn't you be out there looking for him instead of standing here?" he said to Jason, who noticed the snarky and arrogant tone to his voice. "Do I tell you how to fight fires?" Jason asked, keeping his cool though it was clear that the infamous Irish temper was starting to show when he said that.
Ice sensed it as he stood there, as did the other two firefighters that were walking by. Jason didn't see them as he kept his eyes on Herrmann. It wasn't lost on Jason that there was bad blood between most police and firefighters. Jason had nothing but respect for them, but if one tried to tell him how to do his job, that was another story.

Why did she seem to find his news comforting? He had an informant and an off looking man like the picture she had showed him but that news was almost as good as him telling her he had caught the guy. She couldn’t hide the relived smile on her face until Herrmann rolled his eyes. “Hey, Jason is doing everything he can besides I trust him.” Gabby said glaring at Herrmann. “He never tells us how to do our job so we don’t tell him how to do his besides his dog is trained to bite people who annoy him so think twice Chris.” She truly had no idea if the dog would but given she could see Jason was struggling with a temper she didn’t want to take the chance.
“Sorry, we’re all just a little on edge about this and I just want it to be over, i’m sure you understand that.” She said smiling, “We like cops and have nothing against you guys, well only Voight but i’m sure you’ve heard about that guy.” After Voight’s dealings with 51 it was surprising that they allowed him into Molly’s but Jason wasn’t Voight. “So, you’ve tracked this nut case to a warehouse? Any more news?” She asked eagerly wanting to know as much as possible. After all the guy was crazy and she needed Jason’s help to fix her problem.

Jason nodded a bit when Gabby said that. "No worries and yes we have." he replied while Ice kept his eyes on Herrmann. "As for any other news: he's not going to let me chasing after him scare him off. It would be wise to keep your guard up." he said to her. Little did Jason know but the guy was stepping things up. He was making his way back to the firehouse to kidnap Gabby, using his training to slip around the house and find a spot where he would not be noticed but where he could snatch Gabby with out being heard.
Back at the car fire, Herrmann made another snarky comment to Jason and Ice. Jason looked over to him, a hint of fire in his eyes. "You believe you can do a better job in law enforcement then myself, go down to CPD headquarters and tell them you want my shifts for the rest of the week." he said to him sharply. Ice glanced over to Jason, then looked back to Chris and the others.

Gabby wished he had said something else but keeping her guard up was annoying. Sure she was the straight talking type but she wanted to believe in the human race and this stalker man was ruining that for her. “Thanks, I know you’re doing your best.” She said smiling although she felt like crying inside wishing that the guy would at least face her about what he was doing, at least that way there was a chance that she could scream at him and he would get her message loud and clear.
She had almost thought that the tension had gone when Herrmann had to make another snarky comment. Did they want the CPD not to help her our she thought to herself glancing toward Jason and Ice with an ‘I’m so sorry look’ on her face. “Herrmann leave it alone, Jason is helping me besides we couldn’t do any better and don’t pretend we could.” She snapped at the man before glancing back toward Jason. “We don’t want your shifts thanks, got enough with our own and sorry about this. Free drinks at Molly’s for you for a week.” She said smiling at Jason, she knew it wouldnt sit well with Herrmann but Jason was doing her a huge favour working on her case so she was happy to do it.

"No worries, I will see you then." Jason said to her in a kind tone before turning to leave. Ice followed him back to the patrol car, getting in the back once the door was open. After getting Ice secured, Jason got in the driver's seat and headed out, unaware of the fact that Gabby's stalker was hiding at the firehouse. He radioed in about what had happened, calling for an APB on the suspect as he drove along.
Back at the firehouse, Gabby's stalker waited for them to come back. Given his background, he didn't mind waiting for them to return, it gave him more time to plain out his next move. While remaining hidden, he looked at the photo he had of Gabby. A creepy grin came to his face as he looked at the photo. Moments later, he heard the ambulance pull into the station. The guy looked up and saw Sylvie Brett and Jessica Chilton get out. *Looks like they are starting to return* he said to himself.

Gabby watched as Jason left, she half wanted him to stay where he was just for the peace of mind but then again she had to be an adult about this. It wasn’t the first time someone had been stalked and she was sure she wouldnt be the last person either but even that thought wasn’t a comforting one. Herrmann kept grumbling as they tidied up the scene and did their best to leave as little to do as possible there. The tow truck would take care of the car and their job was officially wrapped up there. As she climbed back into the Truck she did her best to field a few nosey questions.
Even the ride back to the firehouse was supposed to be relaxing though for her she felt as on edge as ever. When they got back it was made clear that her job was once again clearing up outside with the added task of washing Engine 81 while the other’s made their way back inside for lunch. With furious conviction Gabby hurled the washing sponge into the bucket as she filled it with water before storming her way back outside. Candidate, it was more like a servant she thought as she put maybe a little too much effort into washing a side panel of the engine leaving a slight dent in the pristine metal work.

Seeing she was alone, the stalker grinned a bit, then made his move. He moved in silently, not wanting to give himself a away. When he was close enough to Gabby he clamped a chloroformed soaked rag over Gabby's nose and mouth while coiling his powerful arm over her waist. "Don't fight it" he hissed into Gabby's ear while holding onto her. He was thankful no one saw him at this time while dragging her off to his van.
At the same time, Jason had finished up in meeting with an informant of his when he got that feeling something was wrong. He picked up his car radio and called into dispatch. "CPD, 151, I'm on my way to CFD House 51, send back up right away." he said before turning and heading to the house. Ice sensed that something was up when the car turned suddenly. Jason glanced back and spoke in German to the massive dog.

She was too annoyed and frustrated to keep her guard up. Even when the rag was placed over her nose and mouth her first instinct was to take a deep breath simply to give her energy to run or fight however the hand over her nose and mouth coupled with the powerful arm at her waist was enough for her not to be able to scream or even get away as she heard his hissed words which sent a shiver down her spin. She felt herself getting sleepy as she knocked over her bucket of water with her foot and the sponge she held fell from her hand with a splat.
She did her best to try and fight her eyes closing although it did no good as the guy still held her. All she could do was try to give a half hearted muffled scream that she would be lucky if her stalker even heard as she found herself drifting off to sleep. She could only hope that Jason had something and hadn’t taken offence at their earlier problem with Herrmann, yes this was all Herrmann’s fault she told herself as her world went dark.

Once she was out, the man got Gabby into the back of his van, closing the door behind him after getting it. He then used the duct tape he hand to bind Gabby's wrists behind her back, then her thighs and ankles. The guy wedged several pieces of medical gauze pads into Gabby's mouth before pasting two strips of tape that ran from ear to ear over her lips. Satisfied, the man got in the driver's seat and drove off with Gabby.
Moments later, Jason arrived at the fire house to see Herrmann with the others. It was clear he was in a range as he stepped out of the car after putting it in park. While he stayed calm, Herrmann only got more ticked when he saw Jason and stormed over to him over the orders of Chief Boden. Jason stood his ground and kept his cool.....that was until Herrmann decided to poke him in the shoulder. In one swift move, Jason grabbed Herrmann by the wrist and put him in an arm lock. "You want to be ticked at me about this, meet me at Murphy's gym and we settle the score there, for now, all I care about is getting Ms. Gabriela Dawson back." he said firmly, but not raising his voice before letting go.

Hermann was ticked at Jason and if he could have he would have met him at Murphy's gym but he had never been the one to throw punches. “She came to you for help so you need to fix this and if you don't you’ll answer to this entire house” he said looking back at his colleagues. Gabby was one of their own and they needed her back, he never thought that this guy would go this far and actually take Gabby. “So what do you need us all to do?” He asked not wanting to feel useless.
Gabby was still tie up with the duct tape as she started to come around. She tried to move her legs but couldn't as she tried to make sense of what was going on. The last thing she remembered was washing truck 81 which was annoying and lord help anyone who thought that this was a good joke to play on her today. She was the candidate not the butt of everyone's joke. Hermann was going to get the sharp end of her tongue she thought as she tried to kick her legs out failing dramatically.

Jason was un phased when Hermann said that to him, Casey glanced over to Boden at the same time, both men having looks on their face that indicated it wasn't smart nor the time for Chris to threaten Jason, even though they both understood that he was angry. "What I need is for someone to show me where Ms. Dawson was before she went missing." Jason said, moving on from Hermann's choice of words. Ice was standing next to Jason at the same time, sensing the hostility between the two men, something wasn't lost on Chief Boden.
At the same time, the stalker glanced back when Gabby kicked her legs around. He hit the breaks hard as she did that. "Behave and you won't be hurt." he hissed at her before continuing on. Moments later, he pulled into an abandoned warehouse. After parking, the guy got Gabby out of the back and set her down on a dirty mattress before sitting next to her. "I'll remove the gag, but you should know that people avoid this building like the plague so screaming will not help you." he said to her.

Herrmann felt a little guilty, it had been him who had told Gabby to go and wash the front of the house along with the truck. Silly candidate stuff, the newbie always had the bad jobs and it had been that way since he started. Gabby had asked him to turn her into a fire-fighter and this was the exact way Herrmann had been taught. Follow your superior and do the worst jobs available while learning, it worked for him and he was determined it would work for her as he led Jason out to the Truck Gabby was washing. “Here, she was right here not that long ago.” He said glancing toward the floor. “I was the one who told her to do this before you ask.” He added shaking his head.
Gabby rolled forward in the van as the man hit the brakes. Gabby glared at him, ‘behave and you won’t be hurt’ she had seen that movie and it didn’t end well for those who did exactly what they were told. Then again she didn’t really have much of a choice in the matter since she was taped up well. Today it just had to be today when she was too furious to notice she thought to herself. She could do nothing as she sat on the dirty mattress trying to hide her fear of what was to come. Gabby tried to lean away from the guy as he offered to remove the gag.
Scream she would and even if it didn’t do any good it might make her feel better that she had tried. Still she nodded understanding what he had said; at least she wouldn’t be silent in her final moments if this was to be it. She would scream and kick as best she could and at least this guy would know she wasn’t about to leave earth without a fight.

The man watched Gabby as she nodded, then ripped the strips of tape off her lips so she could spit out the gauze he had packed into her mouth. He sat back after doing so and watched her, no trace of emotion on his face. It was as if the guy was a robot, which wasn't to far from the truth in a mannor of speeking. His time in the military hardend him and his time in specal forces made him that much colder. It was clear that he was off his rocker and that he would have no qualms in hurtting Gabby.
Back at the firehouse, Jason got Ice out of the back of his car and lead him over to the area Gabby was at last. Dispite the water, he was able to pick up Gabby's scent and led Jason away from the builing and to the spot where the guy's car had been. Jason sighed a bit when Ice sat down, indicating that the trail had gone cold. He did how ever see the tire marks and sent a photo of them to a friend of his in the CPD lab. After doing so, he pet Ice then looked back to the rest of the group, seeing the looks on their faces as he called in what he knew and as back up arrived.
