So we're going to try and keep this real simple. Please take the time to read through ALL of the rules and make sure you understand them. We're not here to ruin your RP experience; we're here to keep it fun... If you are new then feel free to look over RP Etiquette as it may answer some questions that the rules do not.

SIGN UP

As soon as you have signed up please change your display name to your character name

{E.G jeff to Jeff Thomas Smith}

CHARACTER CREATION

If you are creating another character on this board (if you already have John Smith and wish to make Jane Smith). John will need to have at least 10 posts on his account to qualify for another character. This does not include posts for claims, games, plot pages etc.

POST LENGTH

The post length is at least 100 words or more. If you require help or ideas then please just ask.

THIRD PERSON

All role play should be written in the third person/past tense. E.G. Billy ran toward the edge of the roof rather than I was running to the edge of the roof.

GRAPHICS

Banner images - These should not have a width of more than 500px (some skins are on the site are 450px).

Avatar images - These are 100 x 100 images.

Hover images - 300 depth x 200 width images.

RESPECT

If you are banned, deleted or asked to leave by an Admin please do as asked. It isn’t pretty to fight the issue or mess around, we don’t tolerate anything like that nor do we tolerate rudeness toward any member or member of staff.

Please do not hassle members, we all work at different rates and are a board who understands everyone's limitations.

Please respect the staff on this board, we do try our best. If you have an issue with a choice then PM the staff about it. We are all open to discussion and are easy to talk to.

TERMS OF SERVICE

Proboards is a PG-13 HOST Server. Mature and Explicit content IS FORBIDDEN. No character may be under the age of 13. This is due to the fact that we advertise with resource forums who do not allow us to be listed on their sites otherwise. ANY character under the age of 18 must be in conformity with International Child Exploitation laws or they will be deleted and the writer banned without a warning. We take the terms of services and legal laws seriously!

GOD-MODDING

God-modding is not allowed at all here, we understand sometimes it's unavoidable but please stay away from it.

ADVERTISING

Advertising, yes we all do it here but please do not advertise anywhere else on the site other than the advertising board.

INACTIVITY

Activity or inactivity. Please stay active, do not sign up make a character and then disappear *poof*.

If you have a canon character and do not post with that character you run the risk of that character being taken off you/deleted. Again this is only to further the plots on the board (there are exceptions to this rule for group plots given posting orders and so on).

CBOX

C-Box rules go a little like this, do not nag for posts in the c-box, you can tell someone you've posted but leave it at that. Please don’t rant in the C-box, discuss political religious or racis remarks. If you have a problem, discuss it over PM with an ADMIN PLEASE!

Don't advertise on the c-box.

CANONS AND/OR FAMILY MEMBERS OF CANONS

Oh yeah and one more thing Canon character's are limited to start with, four per-person. You can make as many original characters as you would like. The canon limit will lift after a period of time.

If you intend to make a canon characters family please consult them first (if they are on the board already)! PM them or the character/s involved or discuss on the cbox first.

IMPERFECTIONS

Characters have flaws as no one is perfect. Be as realistic as possible with your character.

GENERAL RULES

Please allow staff 48 hours (two days) to accept an application. This is to allow staff to read and consider and also not everyone is around on the day an app is posted.

We accept characters from a wide variety of shows however we do not accept superpowers, so please no superman or batman will be accepted.

Face claims: On this board we allow a 10 year gap between the age of the face claim to the characters age on the board. Anything over this will be at the staff's discretion.

Last names: Last names must be unique unless you have plotted to be a family member of another character OR you have both agreed to share a last name with no relation.
