Arson Unit is found at CFD Headquarters. They have their offices on the fourth floor of the building and occupy an entire floor for their investiations. Sometimes they require the help of the police department to close cases and arrest suspects. Arson is a difficult thing to prove so evidence is key to any investigation.

Brittany Severide is a psychologist for the fire-fighters suffering with job related issues as well as those who are suffering from having been in the fire (civilians). Her door is always open for anyone who needs it.

The Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Division is commanded by an Assistant Deputy Fire Commissioner. Here you will find the offices of the Assistant Deputy Chief Paramedic and Paramedic Field Chief. The Paramedic Field Chief is in charge of all EMS and Ambulance Companies within that District and reports directly to the Assistant Deputy Fire Commissioner.

The Fire Suppression and Rescue Division is commanded by an Assistant Deputy Fire Commissioner. Within the five Districts are 24 Battalions, each commanded by a Battalion Chief per shift. Any fire-fighter that is here will be here for a promotion, demotion, problem, write up or any other issue that relates to the fire house or other fire fighters. There are several offices for the all the department Chiefs, District Chief or Deputy District Chief.

The Special Operations Division is commanded by an Assistant Deputy Commissioner. is divided into several subsections, Hazardous Materials (Haz-Mat.) and Air-Sea Rescue. The Haz-Mat division is commanded by a Deputy District Chief. The Air Sea Rescue subdivision is commanded by two Deputy District Chiefs, one in charge of Air Operations and one in charge of SCUBA Operations.
