Alone time

Jason gave Shani a silly look when he said that to him, knowing she was joking with him. "Your a funny lady Ms. McGuire" he said gently before tickling her a little as he stood there with her. "And yes I saw this as a kid." he added in kind after tickling Shani. He then lead her though the heart, looking around at the same time, mentally kicking himself for being freaked out by this as kid.

While standing in the middle of the heart, Jason turned to Shani and kissed her again, the sound effects of the heart filling his ears at the same time.

Shani laughed and bowed her head slightly, “Available for all parties week days and weekends.” She teased as she wiggled, squealed, jumped and laughed her way through his tickling her. “You were a very lucky kid.” She replied as she caught her breath and followed him through the heart. She could see why a child might have been freaked out by it but to her she was too curious for her own good at times.

As Jason kissed her again she could hear the sound effects of the heart. She stood there kissing him and they could have been anywhere in the world. It was all she could do to keep focused on the fact they were in a public place as her arms moved around him.

"That I was" Jason replied to her comment about being a lucky kid after kissing her. He then led her out and into other part of the museum, holding her hand while leading her around. "This reminds me of the museum that you took me to the first time I came out to Israel." he said to her after a few moments, thinking back to that time. Jason would never forget that trip, or any time he went out to Israel.

"We need to bring the kids here again." Jason said off the cuff while walking around with her, taking in everything that was around them as he said that.

Shani followed Jason around the museum as he led her around. “Did you really like it? I’d love to take you back there, the dead sea scrolls at the Israeli Museum were amazing.” She said having enjoyed every minute of their trip. It was nice to finally show him around the places she had told him about. “We could go to the Eretz Israel Museum and Tel Aviv Museum of Art next time? There’s so much to see over there and so much history.” She offered with a smile, it was nice to show him around the places she had visited.

“Oh we do, there’s so much to see here and do. It’s better with each visit and changes too.” She said smiling with wonder as she looked around at the place. It never failed to amaze her and always managed to see something or learn something new in those places.

"I did" Jason replied honestly when Shani asked him that while holding her hand as he looked at her. He listened to her mention a few places for them to visit when they went back to Israel. "I'm up for visiting those two museums." he said in reply. "Is it me or are Israelis very passionate about their art and their past?" Jason asked. It was something he noticed the last time he was there and he had to say that he was impressed with how well the museums in Israel were managed.

Jason looked over again when Shani made her comment in reply to his about bringing the kids back, seeing the smile on her face at the same time. "There's that charming smile of yours." he said before kissing her cheek.

Shani smiled as he said he was up for visiting the two museums. “Israelis are very passionate about a lot of things but art and history we are very passionate about.” She said with knowing grin, “There’s just so much history, in families, in battles fought and the art tells the story of the ages.” She tried to explain but some of it just had to be seen rather than explained. The museums held a lot of history and her home land was filled with it, people’s stories and even down to the simplest bowl made from wood could tell a story of its own.

Shani giggled like a school child as Jason spoke and then kissed her cheek. “Flattery will get you everywhere Mr McGuire.” She said as she kissed him back for a moment. “And there’s my handsome husband that I know and love who needs to relax on his days off.” She replied as she squeezed his hand lightly.

Jason smiled a bit when Shani said that to him, then returned the kiss. "You're welcome my charming Israeli beauty." he said after kissing her. "Too bad there isn't a clause that allowed people from non-Jewish families to join the IDF....I would have joined at the drop of a hat." he said honestly and off the cuff. Jason had met a few guys from the IDF during a training rotation once and was impressed with how they worked.

Jason smiled again when Shani squeezed his hand. After she did, he scooped Shani up in his arms and spun her around, then gently set her down. A few people saw him do that as they walked by. "Haven't done that to you in a while." he said while looking her in the eye.

Shani giggled and blushed as he spoke and kissed her, she felt like she was on top of the world when she was with him. “My pleasure my handsome American Irish hunk of a husband.” She stated as she nodded, “I’m glad you didn’t because then I might never have met you.” Shani had made a few friends in her time with the IDF, it was a great time in her life but it had been difficult too. The people she knew all reminded her of home as did the IDF.

Shani squealed and laughed as Jason spun her around and set her down. She gazed right back at him with a smile on her face as she shook her head. “No, you’ve not done that for a long time.” She said happy he had done, “I’m just glad to be here with you, and I’ve missed that.” She added as she dragged a finger across his cheek. He made her feel like a teenager again, back when there was no worries about anything other than what to eat that night or the next exam they were sitting.

Jason smiled back when Shani said that to him and dragged her finger across his cheek. It was clear that he was enjoying this time together, it remained him of the time they spent together while in college. Jason kissed her again, then looked Shani in the eye while holding her hand. "There is much sweetness in your lips Shani." he said before taking her to the food court.

"I know I've said this before but I'm thankful that we are both from family oriented cultures." he added while walking with her. It was never lost on him that Shani was a great mother to their kids. He did his part as well, spending all the time he could with Connor and Phoebe, teaching them the same things his parents taught him when he was growing up.

She could see he was enjoying his time and that was what counted more than anything else. There were so many memories, the little things in life mixed in with the big occasions and days that were far too good to be true. Shani laughed as she smiled sweetly keeping her gazed fixed on his eyes. “Thank you.” She said seriously stilling keeping the smile on her face as she went with him to the food court. “There’s honour, respect and tenderness in yours.”

Family was important to her, it had been from the very beginning and her parents had instilled nothing but that into her. You did everything for your family and she was glad that Jason was the same. He was the most fantastic father she could have imagined and even though work sometimes meant that family time was available she knew he spend what time he could with them. “I’m thankful for that too, I could never have asked for a better father for Connor and Phoebe. Every time I see you with them, it makes me smile.” She said meaning it.

There was something about spending time with the children that made even the worst days bearable for the simple fact they had no idea. It was a sweet innocence to their words or just that simple statement that could put a perspective on a day entirely.

Jason smiled a bit when Shani said that to him. He then lead her over to one of the stands in the food court and looked at the menu while holding Shani's hand in his. While standing there, he lend over to her. "When the kids are asleep we should have fun." he whispered to her before kissing her cheek. It was clear that Jason missed having intimate time with Shani and was looking forward to having a moment like that again with her at some point.

After saying that, Jason looked back at the menu and continued to think about what he was going to have, not letting go of Shani's hand at the same time. While he was protective of Shani, Jason knew full well that she could hold her own when push came to shove.

The food smelled fantastic as he led her over to one of the stands. Holding his hand she stole a quick glance at the menu he was looking at. She was still focused on the menu when he leaned over to her and caused her blush. The deep shade of red flushed her face as she smiled. She knew how he missed having intimate time, she missed it too but with children it was never an easy thing to do and with their jobs as well. Certain things took a back seat as she leaned over to him.

Shani liked the fact he never let go of her hand, yes she could hold her own but it was nice to know he was there too. She let her lips brush against his ear as she paused. “That would be fun, I’ve got a new outfit I’d like to show you.” She teased as she kissed his cheek quickly and glanced back at the menu. “Do you know what you’d like?” She asked as if they had just been discussing the football game.

Jason smiled a bit when Shani said that to him, wondering what this outfit of her's will look like. "I do" he replied after Shani kissed him and asked about what he would like. "You know what you want?" Jason asked while standing there with her, having noticed the blush on his wife's cheeks. "Red is a lovely shade on you Shani." he said honestly while wrapping his arms around her as he said that.

At the same time, a little girl saw him do that and smiled at them. Jason noticed the child when he glanced over, nodding to her as he stood there. The girl smile, then walked off to rejoin her parents. Jason smiled a bit, then looked back at Shani. It was clear that he loved her.

Shani smiled seeing Jason smile, she had a few options for her outfit, there was the age old nothing option or a more covered version of something she had picked up on sale one day. When he said he knew what he wanted she smile and nodded, “Just a salad and a chocolate milkshake but spill, what is it you're having? I'm buying so I need to know.” She said with a sweet smile smile though she found the moment he mentioned red colour she found herself turning a slightly deeper shade.

With his arm wrapped around her Shani leaned into him as she saw the little girl smile at them. She smiled back for a moment before she turned her attention to Jason as she pulled her purse from her bag. She knew he loved her, it was clear to her as she loved him too. “I like the shade of red because only you can turn me that colour.” She said as she wrapped her arms around him and pecked him on the cheek.

Jason smiled a bit when Shani kissed him on the cheek, then told her what he wanted. "The grilled chicken sandwich and unsweetened tea." he said to her in reply while watching her pull her purse out of the bag she carried with her. "Always prepared...you sure you don't want me to pay for us?" he said to her gently while standing there and watching her. Jason was a gentleman and was always the one to pay. Sometimes he had to be reminded to step back from time to time and not always be the one to do everything.

At the same time, Jason wondered how their time alone tonight would go and what Shani would wear. There was a slight smile to his face, knowing that no matter what it would be a fun time with her.
