Jason nodded in reply, then got back to the task at hand. With Ice next to him, he scanned for any problems as well while kneeling a bit. "Got eyes on two guards" he whispered, not taking his eyes off the two that he saw. It was clear that Jason was coiled like a cobra, ready to spring into action when the word was given. He had that same lazier focus that he had when in a martial arts or water polo match. Next to him, Ice was like a greyhound in the slip, waiting for the gate to be moved so he could run down the track.
Outside, the EMTs tended to the girls that were brought to them. It was clear that each of them were rattled by what had happened to them.

Hank nodded when Jason said he had eyes on two guards. “Any issues do what you have to.” Hank said as there was no way he wanted anyone to hesitate for any reason. It was easy to see that both Jason and Ice were ready for whatever it was that laid ahead of them as Hank motioned for them all to move. “Let go.” He said as he glanced to make sure everyone was going to go at once. No matter how many busts and raids he had gone on over the years nothing took away the nerves.
The thinking about what would happen, what if they missed something and the worst possible thing that he would be telling anyone that their family member wasn’t going to come home. Especially when there was one officers family member outside.

Jason and Ice moved in with the others when the order was given. One of the guards looked over when one of the officers called out. Jason saw one of the guys raise the rifle he held. "GUN" he shouted out before taking cover just before a shot passed over him, Ice got next to him at the same time. Jason manged to get a clear shot after peering around from the box he hid behind, hitting the guy in both the leg and hip.
Seeing an opening, Jason and Ice moved in while Dmitri covered them. Jason and Ice soon found cover again. Jason shot back another guard who had the other officers pined down.

When Hank moved he could see one of the guards look toward them. At the sound of the word gun, he found cover as fast as he could though it seem to alert some of the others who started firing too. Hank tried to stick his head above the table he had knocked over but every time he did there was a bombardment of bullets as he glanced toward Jason and Dimitri who seemed to be covering each other until Jason got a clear shot to one of the guards.
When Jason shot again Hank found a few moments to fire off a few shots as he hit one guard square in the shoulder and then once in the chest as the guy dropped to the floor. Hank moved forward again as he ducked behind some pallets that were sitting. “Report?” He called wanting to make sure that all the officers were alright and no one was hit as he fired off a few more shots in the direction of another guard that just wouldnt let up with the shooting.

Jason glanced over when Voight asked that. "I'm good" he replied, as did Dimitri and the others. After saying that, Jason looked over to Ice and quickly checked him, thankfully not finding any blood on him or worse. Jason looked back to the guys they were in the shoot out with, taking another shot as he stayed behind the cover that he had. Mentally, he was reciting the Act of Contrition as he shot back.
Outside, Shani was praying to herself as she tended to the young women that were brought out to them. While she knew that Jason was tough and could hold his own, it didn't stop her from worrying for him.

Hank listened to Jason and the words from everyone else regarding their state. He was relieved to hear that everyone was alright so far. Hank wasn’t big believer on the guy upstairs though today he was considering attending church for the first time in years. Hank fired off a few more shots as he ducked down in his position for a moment before lowering himself to the floor and taking someone out by the feet.
He knew it wasn’t exactly a done thing but then they shouldn’t have been shooting at the CPD on any day. Hank could only imagine what was going through people’s heads including Jason’s wife who he was sure would be hearing everything from right outside.

The gunfire slowly slacked off as more of the syndicate members were hit. As he took one of them down, Jason noticed three of them running out the back. "One is running out the back!" he shouted over the gunfire, sending Ice after them after quickly making sure no one from the syndicate was. It wasn't long before Ice tackled the guy and pinned him until Jason arrived and called him off.
After he did, Jason yanked the guy up and slammed onto the wall, speaking to him in Romanian. Ice was close by as he did that, watching the guy closely as he bared his teeth. "How does it feel to be on the other end of a dog bite?" he asked while cuffing the guy.

Hank glanced up to see who Jason was talking about as he saw the man heading out the back. Hank watched Ice go after the guy followed by Jason as Hank made sure to watch Jason’s back. Nothing worse than coming face to face with a situation that had someone in front and back to deal with. He had been in that position too many times to count but with the syndicate there was no point in taking chances like that.
When Hank got there Jason had already yanked the guy up and slammed him into the wall. Hank grinned and nodded, “Nice work officer and canine officer. You both okay?” He asked smiling, “Did Ice get to use him as a chew toy?” Hank asked as he motioned to the guy Jason was cuffing.

Jason looked over and nodded a bit when Sgt. Voight said that to him. "We're okay and yes he did." he replied, motioning to where Ice had clamped down on the guy's arm, dumping 238 pounds of pressure into the guy. The mark wasn't pretty, but given what the guy had done he had it coming to him. After Jason said that, the guy make a remark in Romanian. Jason looked back to him and replied in kind while holding him.
It was clear by the way the guy spoke that he had been mouthing off to Jason and Voight. "By the way: good luck explaing to your new roommates what you were involved in." he said to the guy before speaking to Ice in German. Ice looked at Jason, then barked softly in reply while watching Jason walk off to where the patrol cars were.

Hank nodded relieved that the two of them were both alright. He knew it was a risk in what they did but the fact that his wife was right outside, Hank wasn’t in the right frame of mind not that there ever was going to be a frame of mind, where bad news was needing to be given at the scene. “I think even in Romanian I understood that.” Hank said with a slight grin, well there were certain things that always did sound better in a foreign language.
“There are special places for you in a jail, a place where you wont be top dog but someone elses chew toy.” Hank stated wanting to make a special effort with whatever prison this guy was in to make his life a living misery for the rest of time. Hank watched as Jason went back to where the patrol cars were. Hank handed the prisoner off to one of the other officers there as he watched them bundle him into the back of the car without a care of ‘mind your head’.
Hank walked over to where Jason was. “How are you doing?” He asked the man as he pocketed his side arm back into his holster. It had to be a good result and the women were now safe, at least for this bust though he had a feeling that there might be more to the case but at least in Chicago for that day. People were safe and it was a good win for the team.

Jason looked over to Voight when he asked that. "Better now that the Draculs are out of business." he replied honestly as Ice walked over joined them. Jason looked at his four legged partner, then back to Sgt. Voight. It was clear that Jason was releaved to have this done and over with. "Gabriella would be glad to know they have been rounded up." he said moments later. Ice noticed the tone in Jason's voice, then gently pawed at his leg. Jason looked down at him, then pet the massive dog behind his ears.
Back at the station, Gabriella read over the letter she got from CPD. The last time she was this happy was when she had gotten her citizenship papers. She smiled a little, then closed the letter. She couldn't wait to tell Jason the news.

Hank could completely understand that knowing the Draculs were done was a good feeling. It was a win and the fact they had managed to get the women out too without damage to them. It was a very good day for them too. Hank smiled to Ice when he walked over to join them. Hank nodded when Jason spoke about Gabriella. “Well since we couldnt have done this without you, Ice and Gabriella why dont you be the one to tell her what’s happened today?” Hank offered, there was only so much they could have done without Jason and Dimitri’s help.
He could only imagine what Gabriella might say though that was all down to Jason, if Hank had any doubts about adding Jason to Intelligence they were entirely gone. He knew his job and between them all they have proved they could do the job just as well as anyone else. “Nice work today Jason, and Ice too. We couldnt have done it without you.” He said honestly.

Jason nodded in reply, "I will and your welcome" he replied. After saying that, he spoke in German, then head back to his patrol car. Ice followed him closely, getting into the back of the car. Jason got him secured, then got into the drivers seat and went back to the station. When he arrived, Jason got Ice out and headed inside to fill out his report and speak with Gabriella, finding her up in the Intel area of the station.
He informed her that the gang that had taken her was arrested and shut down. Jason noticed the look of releaf in Gabby's eyes when he said that. "Thank you Jason....I should also tell you that...I will be entering the police academy." she said to him in reply, which clearly caught Jason by surprise. "You will be?" he asked while watching her, the surprise clear in his voice. Gabby nodded in reply when Jason asked her that.

Hank nodded as he went around the other officers there and made sure everything was alright before he made his way to his car. Hank took a moment to think about the good they had done before he set off back to the station. When he got there he filled Platt in on what had gone on before he made his way up the stairs and back into the intelligence unit. Hank hadn’t meant to eaves drop though he head Jason as the question as he looked toward Gabriella.
The police academy was a great choice though Hank couldnt deny he was slightly biased on the subject. “Congratulations.” Hank said toward Gabriella as he glanced toward Jason as he stood behind the woman’s back urging Jason to say something to her. “At least she knows a couple of cops who can lend a hand if needed.” Hank added smiling as he amused himself with taking the information down from the board in the middle of the office.

Jason looked over to Hank when he said that. "That she does" he replied before walking out and heading downstairs with Ice after Gabriella left them. He soon filled out a report on what happened, then changed and headed home, his shift over. Once home, he spent time with Shani and the kids, pushing what happened out his head for the time being. He was just thankful that this day was over.
Two weeks later, Jason was back on patrol. At the moment, Ice was laying in the back seat of the patrol car they were assigned to. While driving though a residential area, he got a call about a break in. Jason responded, then went to the address he was given. Upon pulling up to the house, he did a quick scan of the area, getting that feeling something was up. He got out of the SUV, then got Ice out before heading up to the house. The front door to the house was opened a bit at the same time. Jason noticed it and called in for back up as he got his gun out. After doing so, he pushed the door open and called out. "Chicago PD with a K-9, come out now or you will get bit!" he called out. After a few seconds he went into the house, his gun up and ready just in case.
