Hank could see the look of determination in Jason’s eyes, it was good to see that everyone else was on the same page two as he gripped his gun tightly. You never knew what was around the corner he thought as he looked around the faces. “Let’s show them the door.” Hank said with a grin, the line did sound like a movie but then again sometimes the good guys had to win right. It was their city and they were going to fix the flaws in it, one bad guy at a time.
Hank took a few steps to the door as he stuck his head out to see if anyone was waiting for them. He saw no one in the hallway as he motioned for everyone to move, leaving it any longer risked them being found and the fact they were all in the one room. Well if they managed to get shot at then they were as good as sitting ducks.

Jason followed when Voight gave the signal. Ice stayed close to him, moving with ease despite the vest he wore. Jason followed the group to the main area and waited for the signal to enter. While standing there, Jason mentally recited the Hail Mary a few tims in order to calm himself. At the same time he remembered the words of Uesugi Kenshin: "Engage in combat fully determined to die and you will be alive; wish to survive in the battle and you will surely meet death." Jason looked back to the door that was in front of him and Ice, waiting for what would happen next. There was an uneasy calmness about him at this time.
Ice glanced up to him, then back to the door. Like Jason, Ice was focused and ready. Gone was the family dog and in his place was a bold and fearless K-9 that wouldn't hesitate to tackle a suspect and clamp his powerful jaws, all 238 pounds of pressure worth, into the person's arm while holding him down with his massive body weight.

Hank just wanted everyone to come out alive and unhurt. He had no faith when it came to religion, he had lost that the moment his wife had passed and his son was lost. He tried to understand and yes there had been the odd occasion where he had tried to make the connection but with all that he had done heaven wasn’t really a place he was going to be allowed into. Hell however, well he was sure they would be old friends by the time he was done on earth.
Hank could see the strange calmness that Jason had, for a man who was on patrol Hank wanted to bump the guy up to detective straight off though he knew it didnt work like that. He was in Intelligence for a reason and this was it, the guy was good at his job. Hank held up his hand as he motioned for them to step into the next room. It was with silence and speed that he did it, moving in quickly to provide the element of surprise and hopefully have a clean and quick takedown of the men.

When the signal was given, Jason and Ice moved in with the others. Jason fell back on his training from special forces as he entered. Ice was close by him, moving just as effortlessly despite the vest he was wearing, just as focused as his handler was. Seconds later, Jason saw some of the girls...along with one of the syndicate members with his back to him and Ice.
Jason moved in silently and grabbed the guy, pulling him down behind a crate that was in the room. "How many members are in the room?" he hissed in a whisper while Ice stood next to him and bared his teeth at the guy. Dimitri saw what happened and motioned to Voight.

Voight saw Dimitri and motioned for everyone to find some sort of cover until they could figure out what Jason had for information. Hank held a finger to his lips as he looked at the girls hoping they would keep question and not alert any of the others to the fact that they were in the building. The last thing he wanted was for bullets to start flying when there were innocent people caught in the crossfire. Hank held up his badge to be just in sight of the women hoping it would help them keep quiet.
It wasn’t as if he could yell instructions to them or tell them that help had arrived as he looked over to Dimitri and Jason. He hoped the guy Jason had grabbed would have information he just wasn’t sure what kind it would be as he waited to see what Jason had.

The girls got the hint when Voight did that, each of them shifting as they sat there with their hands zip tied behind their backs. "Five" the guy behind held down by Jason replied in a whisper, clearly getting the hint that he was out numbered and faced by a dog that would not hesitate to bite him if given the command to. Jason nodded a bit when he said that. "Where are the rest?" he whispered back while placing his Glock on the guy's knee as he said that to him.
Ice kept his eyes on the guy that Jason had taken down, his teeth still showing at the same time. Dimitri noticed the look on the dog's face. It was as if Ice was telling the guy "Give my handler one good reason." It wasn't lost on the trafficker as he lay there, a fact that was reinforced by feeling Jason's gun press onto his knee.

Hank watched Jason work, there was a reason he wanted him to work with Intelligence and this was it. He was very good at his job and that showed every single time they had worked together. Hank let a lot of things slide, a threat here and there didnt bother him as long as it aided the job they were doing. The guy needed some encouragement he was all for Jason pointing his gun wherever it needed to be and Ice looking as if he was going to bite the guy.
He was in two minds if it was just for show or that Ice really wanted to do it and was just waiting on a command. Hank kept his head down as he tried to look around, with the girls hands zip tied behind their backs they were defenceless for the most part he felt. Not able to swing out if needed but then again they were getting somewhere with Jason and his interrogation of the guy.

"The rest are in the main room with the other women." the man replied honestly. Knowing that the guy was telling the truth, Jason pulled back while speaking in German. Ice backed off but stayed ready in case he was told other wise. Jason holstered his gun, then handed the guy off to two other officers, how escorted the man out to where other SWAT team was waiting in reserve.
Once he was gone, Jason looked at the others. "The main room is on the other side of the wall from where we are." he said. "There aren't any other syndicate members in this room....just their victims." Dimitri added. Jason glanced over to him, then back to Sgt. Voight, waiting for the next order.

Voight listened to Jason as he thought about it. Other side of the wall meant there was at least a barrier between the cops, the women and the syndicate. “Think we can get them out before all hell breaks loose?” Hank whispered to Jason motioned toward the women. Less collateral damage he thought along with a better chance at know who the bad guys were without civilians running loose. “Think we can get them handed off one by one, we can get the cuffs of them once they’re out.” He suggested wanting everyone to be comfortable with the idea before he walked them all into Syndicate business. Not that invading the building wasn’t doing that but there were levels to it.

Jason and Dmitri both nodded in reply, passing the word onto the others. Once they did, Jason doubled checked to make sure no other syndicate members were around before moving in with Dmitri and other officer. The three of them started to get the girls out of the room and to the EMTs, one of whom was Jason's wife Shani. Jason didn't know she was one of the EMTs who had been sent to the warehouse while he helped escort the young women out.
Back at the station, Gabriella was looking over the letter that she had gotten. She hadn't told Jason but she had been working on getting into the Chicago police academy. Folding the letter up and putting it back, she made up her mind to tell Jason when she saw him later.

Hank kept watch over what they were doing making sure that they had some cover if anyone did happen to walk in on them. Hank kept an eye on the movement as he knew the medics were outside if needed, he was pretty sure he had heard something about a medic McGuire as he looked at Jason for a moment. Hank tried to think if it was a popular name though he simply asked the question deciding to just be direct about it all.
“Jason, you’re wife, she a medic?” Hank asked quietly as he kept watch with a few other officers as he motioned to the women who were heading toward the medics. It crossed his mind that maybe it could affect Jason though his wife was out of the danger zone for now he thought though well it never hurt to understand who was with who in case things did go bad for some reason. Hank guessed that Jason would piece it together either why he was asking or that if it was true that his wife was just outside the doors.

Jason looked over when Voight said that. "She is" he replied, getting the hint that she was out there. A slight sigh left his lips after saying that before composing himself. "If you need me to back off and sit the rest out I will." he added honestly. Ice looked over when that was said, knowing that something was up. Jason looked at him, then back to Voight.
He knew better then anyone that if his head wasn't on straight then it would cost him his life the lives of others. At the same time, he knew this gang the best apart from Demetri and him backing out would put them at a disadvantage.

Hank nodded glad that he had the right McGuire’s or it could be a little awkward if he had to write a Christmas card and placed the wrong names. It wasn’t the first time he had done that either but he tried not to make a habit of it. “Hey, no not unless you think you need to sit it out?” Hank offered, “You okay with this? Can you focus?” He asked just wanting to be sure the man was able to focus on his job and not the fact that his wife was outside.
The last thing he wanted was a distracted officer though Jason’s word was all he needed if he wanted to continue. Hank knew that the information Jason had was invaluable and to lose that would be a blow to the team. “Your word is all I need Jason, can you do this with the distraction?” Hank asked though it wasn’t so much a distraction but his wife though still Hank knew it might be tough given that Jason was inside and not watching his wife’s back outside.

Jason looked at Voight when he said that. "I can do this" he said honestly, clearly refocusing himself. If there was anything that worked to Jason's advantage it was his mental toughness, something that stemmed from his training in martial arts, the army and his time playing water polo. The fact that he's an Irish-Catholic also had something to do with it.
Jason looked over to Dimitri and the other officers before looking back to Voight. "Lets finish this" he said to the older man. Ice stood up from where he had been laying and barked softly, indicating that he was ready to end this as well.

Hank nodded watching as Jason seemed to refocus himself, “I have no doubts.” Hank said seriously, he could see how tough Jason was and how it wasn’t just physical. You had to have some toughness as a cop but at the end of the day he saw that and much more in Jason though right at that moment he knew it would take a lot to focus given what everyone knew now.
“Couldnt have put it better.” Hank said as he motioned for them to move forward into the other room as he did just that. Pausing only briefly by the door to see where the problems might be as he crouch low as he aimed his gun toward the room.
