Hank watched and waited for the footage to show them something worthwhile. He didn’t have to wait long to see that one of the would be robbery took of their mask that little bit too early. The genius of criminals he thought to himself, often they weren’t too smart when it came to after action things. He wondered if they knew one of the three had been stupid although given he had taken the mask off he wasn’t too sure if they did or not. Hank was surprised to hear that Jason had seen the guy before, it wasn’t exactly something he was fond of hearing although a little further information wouldnt hurt. With a simple stare Hank figured he would get across the ‘speak now’ statement without saying a word. ------------- Tess simply looked from Ice when he whined to Jason. Dogs knew their owners well and they certainly knew when something was wrong, she didn’t need Ice to tell her that as it showed on Jason’s face. Tess glanced toward Voight who held a sort of look she didn’t too much care for. They were all on the same side at the end of the day and no matter what Jason didn’t strike her as the sort to not do the right thing. “You know it’s much easier to talk to someone and not glare.” She snapped toward Voight before turning her attention toward Jason. “So mind if I ask, where you’ve seen the guy before?” She moved in front of Voight slightly feeling she was a little less of a monster than Voight, after all the stare was only good for those on the suspect side and not reserved for fellow officers she thought.

"I crossed paths with him a year ago after another robbery just like this one. His name is Sean Anders, a thief and compulsive gambler ever since he was 16." Jason said to them in reply. "Hitting a place on a college campus isn't his MO, he knows that its too risky." he added while standing there with them. "Either he thinks he's clever or...he's a fool." he added before glancing to Tess and Voight. Ice tilted his head to the side when Jason said that. "An informant told me that Sean has a stash house in the Fulton River District where he hides anything stolen until the heat is off." he added after composing himself.
At the same time, Bailey went to one of the dorms on campus to stay with a friend of her's for the time being. Her hands were shaking again as she sat on the bed her in friend's room. It was clear that she would have nightmares for a while.

Tess listened intently to Jason as he explained about how he had crossed paths with one of the robbers. She was glad he had as it was good to get a lead and a face although at some point she guessed that they all must come across the worst in Chicago society. “Personally I say he is a fool for this but then again I might be wrong.” She said smiling, “Thank you for the information, maybe we should head out to his stash house? Might be holding up there?” She suggested glancing toward Voight as she stepped back behind the man. ------------ Voight could hardly believe this female detective; did she really just do that to him? For a split second he thought she must be crazy or just confident in her colleagues but either way he didn’t like. No one ever snapped at him unless they wanted and fight and certainly not telling him not to glare. “Well Jason McGuire, let’s hope this information of yours pans out.” He said still glaring, “If you lead us on a goose chase you can guarantee that I won’t forget it.” Hank was madder at Tess but then again he was originally focused on Jason given that he seemed to know the suspect.

Jason looked at Voight when he said that. "Understood" he said to him, though in the back of his mind he knew that the information he gave was legit. Jason refrained from saying anything about it, his upbringing and military background taking over. Jason knew better then to back talk to someone who out ranked him or to an elder in general. He agreed with his dad in that the worse thing to happen to this nation was the repealing of the draft. While that thinking puzzled Jason at first, it was made clear to him when he got into basic training at Ft. Jackson: if kids now a days aren't going to learn discipline and respect at home or through sports, then where better to learn then in a military boot camp?
Jason was convinced that Voight was related to the head drill sergeant he had, but quickly dismissed the idea. Ice looked up at the group at the same time, wondering what was going on.

Voight was ready for a response from Jason but he was more than surprised when one didn’t come. Maybe Voight just needed to hang around a better class of Cop which he was sure Jason was, most others would have challenged him though when he was quiet Voight was impressed. Still his worst decision that morning had been to drag along the female detective that he should have left sitting at her desk doing paperwork. “Well let’s take a look at this hide out?” Hank said leaving the van, “Can you send us a copy of the photo of the guys face to our phones.” He asked the tech there before stepping back into the tarmac road. ----------- Tess had no problem with authority but she hated it when they threw their weight about for no good reason. She knew a few military leaders like that, one of her commanding officers used to do that to her a lot. He would give a job to any male but when it came to her she was far too delicate. She knew it was a flaw of hers and she really shouldn’t have rubbed Voight up the wrong way but sometimes she just couldn’t help what she said. It was why she admired Jason staying quiet after the man practically made things a little awkward. “I’m sure it’s solid information and won’t be a goose chase, besides you have to trust your informants.” Tess said looking toward Jason, “You have a good source and you trust them right? I mean as trust worthy as a source can be.” That was perhaps her second downfall, she trusted her informants a little too much at times. She was all too willing to believe that humanity would win out at the end of the day.

The tech nodded, then sent a photo of Sean to everyone's phone. Jason looked over to Tess when she said that, then nodded to her. "I do...the informant in question is someone I met during my first year out of the academy." he replied before heading over to his car. He didn't blame Sgt. Voight for not trusting his intel, this was after all the first time they had worked together. Once at the car, he got Ice into the back, then got into the driver's seat. After checking his phone, he headed over to the Fulton River District.
At the same time, Sean had just got to the warehouse with his loot. Going in the back way, he walked over to the empty space and set down what he had. Sean smiled a bit, then headed out again. He didn't know that Jason had told the head of the Intel unit about this place. He was to confidant that he wouldn't get caught.

Voight simply nodded, he didn’t want the case being messed up by an informant. Jason seemed like good police but at the same time it didn’t take much to have a good officer under mined by a bad tip. He motioned for Tess to follow him to the car they had turned up in before they both got in and followed Jason out to the Fulton River District. Had Tess not tried to stick up for another officer’s intel the car conversation might have been different however the chewing out he gave her was simply about rank. He outranked her and no one on his team would get away speaking to him like she did.
He decided the car journey was the best time after all it was admirable that she would take the side of another officer but not when it went against him. Sure his pride was a little wounded but her silence and lack of retaliation said she knew she had overstepped. After he had finished putting Tess back in her placed he sent a message to his unit to send all into they had on the goings on in the Fulton district to Jason’s phone and theirs.

Jason soon arrived near the location, not parking to close. The last thing he needed to do was spooking Sean and having him bolt on them or get into a shoot out. After parking, he got out and looked around while waiting for the rest of the group to show up. He noticed a car parked outside and knew right away that was Sean's. While he stood there and waited, Jason replied the call in his head. Sean had to be in deep with some not so pleasant people if he was foolish enough to hit a building on a college campus in the middle of the day.
Back inside, Sean finished counting the money he and the other two guys had taken from the sorority house. He didn't know that Jason and other CPD officers were outside and that they would be moving in on him in the next few minutes.

Voight pulled up beside Jason’s car, he didn’t take long to exit before going around to the boot of the car and putting on a Kevlar vest. You really couldn’t be too careful these days he thought to himself, if it wasn’t criminals that wanted him dead then there were a few cops, firefighters and civilians close behind on the list he wouldnt put it past them to take a shot at him. That and he had spent the journey explaining rank to Detective Walker which he was sure given the look on her face she might have wanted to shoot him too. Her red hair and death stare were not lost on him. ---------------- Tess sometimes hated when she tried to do the right thing. She remembered the first few years on the job when her training officer had told her ‘doing the right thing, isn’t always doing the right thing’. The longer she worked as a cop in Chicago the more that saying rang in her ears just like every moment that had passed in the car journey. Voight was not the most tactful or nice man in the world but she couldn’t argue because she knew she had overstepped in the situation. When she approached Jason after picking a vest from the boot of the car she checked her gun before glancing to Voight. --------- “So what do we have? You think he’s inside?” He asked glancing toward the building. Something told him that Jason had solid information but at the same time the officer was until today unknown to him which meant it took him a while to warm up to people.

"I do...that's Sean's car over there." Jason replied as he motioned across the street. Officer Lindsay Jackson looked over after arriving, then back at Jason. She wanted to bag this guy after seeing what he had done. Jason noticed the look on her face when he glanced over to her. Ice looked up to Lindsay, then back to Sean. The massive dog healed when Sean spoke to him in German. Sean looked back over to the building after doing that.
Back inside, Sean was on the phone with the person that he was in deep with, speaking rather quickly in Albanian. As he spoke, Sean passed back and forth, unaware of the fact that the Chicago PD was outside and would be paying him a visit in the next few seconds.

Hank nodded, well the car was a good sign now all that they needed was this mysterious Sean to appear so he could be questioned until the early hours about what had happened in that house. “Look this needs to be by the book.” Hank said almost hating the words that fell from his mouth. He was never a by the book kind of cop but this time, for those girls and their families he didn’t want anything questioned in court. Oh sure the ride back to the precinct might be a little long, with a detour added into the mix but then again he had to figure out if he could trust the three new cops he was working with. ------------------- “Everyone ready?” Tess asked glancing around the faces; she fully understood the look on Officer Lindsay’s face but Voight was right. She was a by the book kind of girl, military and her chosen line of speciality taught her that deviations from the line could kill and harm. Making it up as you went along was about as dangerous as playing with a lit stick of dynamite in the end but sometimes it was required. She only hoped that Sean would make it easy on them and not put up too much of a fight.

"I am" Jason replied after getting his Glock out and ready. Ice was as well as he stood next to Jason, his leash off at the same time. Jason looked at the dog, then back up to the building, replaying the initional call in his head and the looks on the faces of the girls that he and Lindsay had found. That was something he would not soon forget. *Stay focused Jason* he said to himself as he stood there. Like Tess, he hoped that Sean when quitely, but knowing him, he had that feeling Sean wouldn't.
Back inside, Sean finished his call, then looked around the place, he was confidant and arrigant in thinking that he could get away with this. He didn't know that he was seconds away from meetting a group of rather determaned Chicago cops that would chase him to all over the city and the world if need be to bring him in. Jason wanted to get him the most given the history he had with Sean. Ice looked up to his handler, then back to the building Sean was in.

Hank gave a quick glance around just to check that there were no spotters outside. The last thing he needed was the give Sean a tip of that his building was about to be raided as he pulled his gun from its holster on his waist band. “Quick, clean and surgical.” He said quietly, the faster they moved the better and he always wanted a clean take down which meant that the more precision they used the better it would be. The only variable on that was Sean and what he had within the place that could make a bad day go far far worse at the pull of a trigger. “Walker on me, Jason, Ice Lindsay lets Move.” Hank said moving forward and away from the cover of their cars. ---------------- Tess didn’t know if she wanted to slap Voight there and then for his ‘on me’ comment. Virtually she was going to have nothing to do other than stare at the man’s bullet proof vest for the rest of the day. She knew better than to annoy a ranking officer or she thought she had done until today when her mouth suddenly got the better of her and now she was given the follow me. She should have known as being a woman she had already come across almost every kind of ‘you don’t know what your doing or you cant do that’ which there was but this really did take the biscuit as she drew her own side arm and tapped Voight’s shoulder to let him know she was there, and following orders.

Jason nodded, then followed Sgt. Voight after speaking in German to Ice. Both man and dog went into what others called "hunter mode", being that they had that lazer focus and that nothing would stand in their way until the task was done. Jason had placed Ice's leash in his vest pocket before they moved in, it would make it easier for Ice to move around and the clincking wouldn't give them away. At the same time, Jason was thankful that Ice had the disipline not to bark or make a sound unless he was commanded to. The same when for him knowing when to let go if he bit someone.
Jason kept his eyes on the building as they moved in, falling back on his training from both the police academy and from the army, paying attention to every detail as he and the others moved closer to the warehouse. As they did, Jason recited the Catholic Act of Contrition in his head, something he did before starting his patrol. He knew the old Samurai maxim of "Go into battle expecting to die, and you will live. Go into battle hoping to live, and you will most certainly die."

Voight made his way down the side of the building sticking by it as he had done so many times is his career before. There was always a nervous tension not knowing what you were going into it, it wasn’t as if they had all the information to hand. Building layouts and enough surveillance to know what they would be heading into. “Everyone ready?” He asked readjusting his vest a little as he aimed his gun at the door, it was really now or never for finding this guy and Voight had no plan to let the guy get away with what he had done to four young women in his city. ------ No matter how long she had been a cop in Chicago Tess always found entering a building without a bomb in it strange. Usually she would by kitted up to the back teeth with her suit and kit but now she had her brain and gun to work with. It didn’t make it any easier as her eyes still looked for those tell tail signs, disturbed dirt, potential triggers and a closed door well that was a whole other set of problems. She kept herself close to Voights back as she glanced over to Jason and Linsday and Ice, “Ready.” She breathed in an almost whisper, ‘First In, Last Out and Be The Best’ were the two mottos that mattered most to her. Bomb squad was usually first in and last out of any situation and no matter what you left your preparations for not coming back at your desk. The letters were written and Will signed, it had been a horror of a day when she had written those but since that day she was prepared as best as she could have been.
