Jackson would liked to have thought she knew nothing but then again, she was female. He didn’t have the best track record there so he wasn’t about to assume anything though she didn’t strike him as the sort to lie easily. Thomas watched her walk as he furrowed his brow, what was it with this woman that had him concerned over her as he saw her sit down on the edge of the docks. It was then Hudson’s turn to say something that made him want to shoot the guy himself. “Focus, I was here not to get shot.” He snapped knowing it was probably the wrong thing to do.
“You’re not fine, just accept the help or I’ll shoot you as retaliation.” He said, he knew it was easier said than done but then again he could see she was hurt. “Least then the nice lady can do her job.” He stated. Shooting her wasn’t really an option but hell after she had managed to shoot him he felt like it. She had redeemed herself by helping him off the boat but the debris that landed on her worried him. That wasn’t good for anyone let alone her who now had an issue with giving her name.
It was always going to be tough he thought rolling his eyes. Honestly dropping Voight’s name right now? He felt like yelling it was a bad idea but she had managed to say it already. Thomas glanced toward Hudson as he sat up stumbling to his feet as the other FBI agent got there. “Like hell you’re declining. So help me if I have to arrest you. Your uncle will tell you that.” He said as he managed to lower himself back down to the floor in a half drop like a stone but make it look like it was planned movement.

Steven nodded to Kelle as he kept pressure on Jackson’s shoulder “I’ll explain this later.” He offered not sure how or even where to start with it but since there was an explosion and two people who required medical attention. It was only fair. Whatever it was they were involved with had obviously gone wrong though Steven was in no hurry to become any more involved. He kept an eye on Kelle and the other woman, mostly for his partner’s safety given she had shot an FBI agent, a medic was practically open season he though silently.
When Thomas spoke he simply rolled his eyes, “Yeah, well that went well for you pal.” He stated, guns led to bullet wounds and the ungrateful FBI agent had one. It was then he was semi distracted by Sharon refusing treatment. Why were people being difficult today of all days he wondered as he half listened and kept an eye on Jackson. “The nice lady is a top class medic, so let her at least look you over.” Steven said trying to help as best he could. The woman was injured, how seriously had to be determined but he had faith in Kelle, they had received the same training so he had no doubt in her abilities.
Steven managed to drop the gauze he was holding to the bullet wound as he grumbled something about sitting and staying where they were. He reached for his bag as he followed Jackson, his stumbling was never a particularly good sign though he had spirit which he was glad was directed at Sharon and Kelle. Steven ignored the next guy who was the uncle, honestly what was this, a family reunion gone bad?
Jackson’s rather odd way of getting back down to ground level alarmed him as he pressed a fresh pack of gauze against the mans would for him to see blood seep slowly through his glove covered fingers. Steven reached for a few more packets to pack the wound as he glanced toward Kelle, “Possible subclavian artery issue here.” He stated, there was a bit of time but then the agents movement were not helping him as he made sure that Jackson was on the floor as he applied pressure. “How’s your patient?” He asked not sure if the woman was on their side and willing to cooperate or if she was still wanting to fight them.

"Stop it. I'm fine"
"Yeah, sure..." Kelle moved back to give the woman her room, confused as to what was going on here, but knowing that for now she had to play along, and she sure wasn't going to argue with the woman....not just yet anyway. "I just want to check you out, okay? Maybe take some vital signs?" The fact that she could get up was a positive thing, but that didn't mean that there weren't some internal injuries that could cause problems later, and potentially be lethal.
"You weren't read into this operation. You aren't getting my name. Have an issue with it? Take it up with Sergeant Hank Voight. He should be on his way." She stated.
"No, I don't..." Sighing, Kelle shook her head. "Sorry, I'm a package deal with Hudson over there, and I don't know what I should be 'read into', but all I care about it making sure you're all right...any of the rest of it we can talk about later." While this was all highly unusual, Kelle wasn't stupid enough spill any secrets, whatever those might be. "So, why don't you just..."
"You should go take care of the one whose been shot. I'm going to decline the hospital but thanks anyway"
At that, Kelle almost laughed as she shook her head. "He's the one who sicced me on you...so, seems like you're stuck with me. Come on, just let me check you over?" While she didn't want to crowd the woman, she stayed close, in case she wavered and started to fall.
Then a man approached them and gave over some information, although Kelle wasn't so sure that it was real, not that she cared.
"Her name is Allison Hempwood. She's my neice"
"Ah, Allison...well, pleased to meet you, Miss Allison, that man's niece...so, are you going to let me check you out, or do I have to get him to tell you to do it?" Shrugging, she added, "Listen, if there's nothing wrong, great! But if there is, you could die, and that's just bad for business..."
“You’re not fine, just accept the help or I’ll shoot you as retaliation.” He said, he knew it was easier said than done but then again he could see she was hurt. “Least then the nice lady can do her job.”
"See, listen to the man..." Seemed like everyone was ganging up on 'Allison', but that wasn't necessarily a good thing...it could make her all the more resistant.
“Like hell you’re declining. So help me if I have to arrest you. Your uncle will tell you that.”
Well, maybe a variation of 'good cop-bad cop' might work? Kelle looked at the man and muttered, "Pot...kettle...you don't look like you're in that great of shape yourself." Lord, but cops made the second worst patients, next to medics!
“The nice lady is a top class medic, so let her at least look you over.”
"Yeah, that..."
“Possible subclavian artery issue here.” He stated, there was a bit of time but then the agents movement were not helping him as he made sure that Jackson was on the floor as he applied pressure. “How’s your patient?”
"Stubborn, opinionated, but at least she can stay upright on her own...mostly." Kelle grinned, glancing at 'Allison'. "So, um...let me check you so the gents here can stop badgering you? I promise to be gentle..."

Sharon was not happy that Jackson was trying to force her to deal with the medical personnel. Though at least Kelle was female. Right she didn't care she was still going to bicker with Jackson. "You are going to have to arrest me then." That would actually be a perfect coverup. Blame it on the non existent Allison Hempwood. They could arrest Allison for killing Victoria and for shooting a federal agent.
Sharon glanced at Kelle and shook her head. "Why don't you just leave me be." She cringed as she moved. Okay so moving hurt her back a lot but it was mostly just swelling from being smacked. It wasn't as bad as the beatings she had gotten from Galacio or Mark in the past.
"Bad for business? Look I've been through worse alright. Yeah it hurts but I am alright" she knew if Hank was here he would be taking everyone else's side right about now too. She was verbally fighting but not physically fighting back as she sat where she was. Would this nightmare ever end?
"You really think I am going to do something because men want me to do so? I know males who are responsible for things far worse than what just happened." She reaffirmed. "And if I wasn't stubborn and opinionated then you would know something is wrong with me Kelle." Well at least Sharon was nice enough to use a name. Though she still wasn't physically retaliating at Kelle by any stretch.

And he had to get the sarcastic medic why? He half wanted to call the female medic back simply so he would have to put up with Mr Charisma. He was glad when the male turned his attention to Sharon, two medics against one cop well she was going to get treatment if it meant she had to scream from a roof top there would be no changing it. He listened in and out of the conversation not sure what was going on because people were not uncles and it was complicated which he knew it would be the minute he found out about the job.
He had to hand it to Kelle that she was at least making Sharon listen to her as much as the woman would listen to anyone. Luckily she didn’t have a gun so that meant at least Kelle wasn’t going to get shot for trying to help her though how he had managed to was still a mystery. Sharon couldnt shoot but she managed to shoot him or he was just having a really unlucky day he thought as he stared at Hudson who was jabbering about a sub clav issue which made about as much sense to him as pineapple on pizza. Fruit wasn’t a main course meal in his head though why he was arranging the two he’d never know.
“Well at least I didn’t shoot her... yet.” He stated still debating if he would simply so she would accept medical attention. Hell he was having to let Mr Charisma look after him and there was nothing worse than a sarcastic medic. Honestly how Kelle worked with the guy was beyond him because out of the two, Hudson would be first on his list of people to glare at for that day. Thomas let that go as he went back to the challenge of arresting Sharon or Allison.
“If you want to be arrested Allison, carry on because i’ve no problem with that since you shot me.” He stated though he didn’t like the sound of what went on in her past. He had been kept in the dark about most of the information, the case was a simple make the woman disappear with as little fuss as possible which went wrong the minute he was shot and she called Debra. Thomas pushed Hudson away with his good arm as he stood up again pulling a set of handcuffs from his belt that had been hidden under his shirt.
“Let Kelle do her job or else.” He threatened seeing that she wasn’t physically fighting but there was no way she wasn’t going to be looked after. He still had his job to do despite the fact she shot him for no reason he knew of.

If there was every going to be a more interesting call he couldnt think of one as he listened to the three of them talk. Steven listened to what Kelle said about Allison or Sharon or the woman who now had more names than his entire family. That was not strictly true but for the purposes of keeping his information straight, it was Allison. Steven was well aware that if someone refused medical treatment there was precious little he could do other than badger them, give them the worst case possible and hope that bad news for them was good news for him.
When Allison started on about what males had been responsible for he had to hand it to Jackson that swapping medics had been a reasonable smart move. Kelle was the woman for that job though given the amount of arguing going on he felt for her though he had no doubt she could handle it. “Think enough people have been shot today.” He mumbled toward Jackson, between Allison and Thomas two of them could argue that was certain but he had a job to do too but when was it ever going to be anything but easy.
Steven had just reached for another batch of gauze when he found himself shoved onto his backside by the very ungrateful FBI agent. Steven rolled his eyes as he changed his gloves out and the gauze as he made another effort, he pressed it hard against the agents shoulder knowing it would hurt but arresting people wasn’t going to help anything as he glanced toward Kelle and Allison. “Do we really have to separate you two?” He asked before he glanced toward the two women.
“Now Allison you can let Kelle here do her job or I will let this stubborn idiot arrest you. Either way one or both of you are going to the hospital.” He stated in a rather exasperated tone. The two of them were, well he had no words to describe what they were. Both injured and both arguing, there was stubborn and then there was these two he thought keeping a hold on Jackson’s shoulder.

Hank was ready to kill someone as he picked Derba up but sat in silence. This was what happened when you trusted the FBI, they screwed it up. He was well aware that he had messed up with his phone but Sharon didn’t go around shooting people for no reason which meant that the FBI agent had done something to cause this. Even the thought that Sharon was hurt made him want to shoot the agent himself or the medic/s that were holding things up or really anyone that managed to get in his way that day.
With that in mind Hank bypassed the fire-fighter’s cordoned off area under a guise of helping before he blasted the car down to the harbour. He didn’t miss a step as he slammed the car door shut and stormed off in search of Sharon and to find out directly what was going on there. The FBI had managed to mess things up then the agent was first on his list, Sharon was hurt so yes he felt like shooting the agent again just to make sure the guy felt pain and honestly he wanted to know what the hell was going on.
The one thing he did know was that Sharon was going to the hospital and Jackson was going to feel pain like no other. Did the CPD have to do everything themselves these days just to make sure it wasn’t a complete disaster he wondered as he stormed off down to the docks.

"Looks like you're outnumbered," Kelle commented with a shrug, "so, maybe one of them can take you in?" She nodded to the array of maleness that was loitering nearby. "Or...you can come along with the nice girl paramedic?"
At this point, she figured they were all adults and she had done all that she could to try to convince the woman to come with her. And while she didn't think there were any grievous injuries at this point, from what she could tell, Allison had experienced significant mechanism., increasing the potential for internal and hidden injuries.
"Past that, I can promise that I won't do anything you don't want, except for taking some vital signs...Deal?"
While things like an IV and oxygen would be beneficial, Kelle didn't think they would be vital, and if bargaining with the woman would help put her at ease, she was willing to do that.

Sharon shot Kelle a look. "I'd rather go with the CPD than deal with being treated like a child" she stated sharply. Sharon was not in any mood to deal with the paramedics at all. 'nice girl paramedic?' WHO was she kidding?
Debra was following Voight and came up behind him. "Voight either you arrest her or the FBI will" she stated. They had to clear Allison Hempwood from the investigation somehow. Victoria could tell by the look in Debra's eyes that this was an improvision. Crap... Debra was probably pissed at her.
Victoria was dead, Sharon wasn't really here, and Allison needed to be taken out of the investigation. Though Sharon didn't answer the question about vital signs. Her dad's presence changed her mind. "Yeah... Vitals okay" she didn't want to argue with her dad on this. If she continued to fight with Kelle, she knew it was going to be a fight that didn't extend to just the medic.

Hank could only stare at Sharon for a moment, so he was left with arresting her for shooting someone or having the FBI do it. Well they had managed to do enough damage for the day he thought as he nodded toward Debra. The woman was right, they needed Allison Hempwood cleared out of things and well arresting her was a way. “I got this, the FBI has done enough for the day.” He said as he glared at Thomas. He half wanted to tell Sharon to have shot him properly but then again how she had managed to shoot him was beyond his understanding. “Allison Hempwood I am arresting you for the shooting of FBI agent Jackson.” He stated as he looked toward Kelle who was treating Sharon. “Are we okay to take her to the hospital and how bad is it?” He asked trying not to show he cared but then again if he was arresting her which he had to he needed to know his arrestee was in a fit state first. Honestly what had happened to cause this mess was a headache for him and he wasn’t sure who to be made at but Jackson was number one on his list. --------------- Thomas glared at Steven, if this was the guy who was the first to save people he wanted another medic. One that wasn’t so opinionated or at least one who didn’t speak because given he had been shot he felt entitled to his opinion and to shoot the person who did it. Then Steven just had to make it worse, since when was he a stubborn idiot? “How do you work with this guy?” He asked Kelle, or rather how had she not punched him yet was a better question but then again if he could have he would have already. Thomas looked toward Debra not sure what was going on now, he had completely mucked up his job which had been simple as of a few minutes ago. Now they had another name to disappear within the system, Sharon had her father there and now his boss too. All in all it was turning into a bad day and one where all he wanted to do was creep off the dock as quickly as he could without losing his job in the process. Then again he was biting his own tongue to stop himself from yelling at Voight, the FBI had done enough. Like CPD was going to do any better with a woman who didn’t want help because she was shooting those trying to help her.

When Thomas asked the question ‘how did Kelle work with him’ he winced openly. He had been through enough partners on his rig recently and he hardly wanted to start that process over again. So far Kelle had done extremely well in his eyes, it just happened that this day was a little more trying than the previous calls they had taken. Then again when the lettered agencies started to get involved he had expected nothing less. If it wasn’t CPD, then CFD or FBI or Coast Guard that was on their backs for something.
Steven had little time for the bureaucracy of things like that; they were in the job to save lives where they could. Nowhere did anyone mention havening to bend to the will of other letters in the alphabet. Still for FBI Steven wanted to grip the guys shoulder until it hurt to show just how annoying he could be. “Once you have vitals we should probably move these two to the hospital.” He said glancing toward Kelle, as he considered warning the nurses there in advance of just how annoying the FBI guy was. They could maybe sedate him before he could open his mouth on their end which sounded good to him at that moment.
Then there was a police officer there and an arrest and like all of this needed to happen to make their jobs any more difficult he thought. It was going to be the last time for a while he was going to be dragged willing into a similar situation. His people to avoid list just became a little longer as he glanced between the faces to see what would happen next. Or if the woman would chose to shoot anyone else though he was also glad she was unarmed so far as he was aware.

"How do I work with him?" Kelle grinned at the question and shrugged, then leaned in toward Thomas and whispered, "I've just learned to shut him out and make up what he's saying!"
She laughed as she went back to checking Allison over. So far Steven wasn't so bad, he hadn't put her down, made an issue of her being new or a female, and he didn't seem to mind that she snored! Not that they hadn't had their differences, but who didn't? But none of it had been overly serious. Glancing at Steven, she grinned and quickly stuck her tongue out at him, but then Allison was being informed that she was under arrest, and Kelle frowned.
"You can take her," she told Voight, "but she's at least got a concussion, might be a bleed or something, only a CT can determine that..." She shrugged, looking toward Steven then back to Hank. "So, depends if you want to take on that liability...probably best you send her with us."
She had no idea if the petulant woman would appreciate, or even realize, her efforts to intervene with the cop and advocate for ambulance transport over the back of a cruise, but eh, if she didn't, it was her loss.
“Once you have vitals we should probably move these two to the hospital.”
"So?" Kelle turned her attention to Allison. "You gonna come with us?" Well, in truth, it was law's ultimate decision, but the woman's wishes could work strongly in her favor. Of course, maybe she wanted to be cuffed and stuffed into the sold plastic back seat of the patrol cruiser that had been puked on and washed out on a regular basis...

“Allison Hempwood I am arresting you for the shooting of FBI agent Jackson.”
Sharon knew since she was being given an alias that she was not truly under arrest but this was like UC. You didn't break the cover. "Don't I get rights or something. And I'm calling this self defense" she spat out. Oh she could be a handful. Though she would willingly go with her dad over the woman trying to get her to the hospital.
“Are we okay to take her to the hospital and how bad is it?” Damn it Dad. She should have seen that question coming.
"You can take her, but she's at least got a concussion, might be a bleed or something, only a CT can determine that... So, depends if you want to take on that liability...probably best you send her with us." NOPE. Sharon didn't want to go with the EMT at all. She just glared daggers at Kelle.
Funny enough Sharon knew that Voight didn't drive a police patrol cruiser, so if Kelle was wishing her to be shoved back there; she knew better. Clearly the woman didn't know much about Voight which might work in her favor for now. "I am not going to the hospital" ... yeah well even if she WANTED to go to the hospital that was up to her dad and Sharon had a feeling that she already knew what Hank's answer was going to be in this situation.

Thomas laughed as Kelle spoke, ‘shut him out and make up what he’s saying’ that was a good one he thought. “Well good luck with Mr Charisma.” He whispered back as he glanced over at Steven. Yeah the man was a special kind of annoying and had he been a cop, well would probably be the sort that got hold of something and wouldnt let it go. That kind of annoying coupled with good looking in an annoying way and that ease of character that smoothed over situations. All of that equalled in his head annoying on another level.
Then came the whole Voight incident, the man was a liability and whatever he had against the FBI he could drop because it was Sharon that shot him. No sniper or extra shooter, just an armed woman who was crazy enough to think he wasn’t trying to help her. He had to admit the minute the man spoke about arresting her he did feel a little twinge of guilt. The sort that despite the fact he was annoyed he did feel guilty about her being arrested. Even if it was as a separate person.
“What rights and what self defence, I didnt even draw my gun!” He almost yelled at her, whatever guilt he felt knowing it was making a story but ‘self defence’. No shooting someone at point blank range, no way he saw it that way because he was the one who was shot for trying to help her.
---------------- As Kelle spoke he wished he had not asked the question. Concussion, bleed or CT and liability all in the same sentence had his head spinning as he glanced to Debra. This was still Sharon at the end of the day and Allison was a imaginary person so he was taking no chances with his daughter. Hank simply grumbled for a minute before looking to Kelle. “Yeah hospital it is, can’t be doing with the city being sued over some woman shooting an FBI agent.” He stated hating every word that came out of his mouth. He was sure that Kelle would have seen such paper work but this wasn’t about a lawyer this was family.
He was still stunned that she had managed to shoot anyone, impressed yes but her choice of moments to shoot someone was lacking. Least of all FBI which was a headache in itself. “Like hell you’re not going.” Hank snapped at her, this was serious and he wasn’t about to play around with her health. What Kelle had said put a fear into him and this entire situation was unsettling so he wanted her to be checked out or scanned and done whatever else needed to be done in the safe confines of a hospital. “You’re under arrest so you do what I say and that’s final Allison.” He said before turning to Debra.
“Your agent taking the ambulance too or do you want to drive him? Doesn’t look too wounded, seems like a scratch to me. FBI has to make a paper cut into a knife wound.” He stated in almost snarky tone but then again he did feel for the guy. Getting shot hurt and least of all by the most unlikely person to pull a trigger on a melon let alone a human.

Hearing Kelle laugh made him smile; it was good when anyone was able to laugh. Although not prescribe by a doctor he stuck by laughter was the best medicine. In his mind he had no problem with anyone who could do the job. Female or male, what mattered was their ability and putting people down was not his style. Constructive chat yes but putting people down never worked and it was hardly a nice thing to do. They had their ups and downs like anyone else, good days and bad days but at the end of it they did their job to the best that they knew how.
After all they were stuck in a box together for a shift, if they hated each other then the day would be particularly painful for both sides. Steven smirked at Kelle as he stuck his tongue out back at her. Okay well they both had patients that were pains in the behinds he thought as he tried to keep up with the FBI agent who appeared to dislike him. No news there but the guy was going to bleed if he kept moving and beyond shooting him again Steven needed him to at least stay in one spot.
When the lawyers were mentions Steven just rolled his eyes, was now really the time that people were thinking that way. Honestly. “Look can we stop arguing over who shot who and whose fault it is?” He asked testily, “There is a potential internal bleeding and concussion over there and this...” Steven stopped to choose his words carefully as he glanced toward Thomas before he looked around the faces. “This agent here who’s actually bleeding. So who’s going where because we’re medics, not cops or lawyers. Injuries are our business so are we going to the hospital or coming back later for round two when things get worse?”
So he was bluffing a little about being back, it was hardly out with the realm of possibility given what could happen but not guaranteed to be them. Still if the CPD or FBI wanted to fight and their patients refused treatment, it was a mess. A particular mess that he could already see the stacks of paperwork that might need to be filled out to start with.
