Felicity was desperate to find her friend. Ashley had been missing for three days now and the last cop she had spoken to said that ‘she would turn up, people like her always did’. It was the last thing she wanted to hear because Felicity knew something was desperately wrong. Ashley called; she always did like each one of them did after a ‘job’ because they had a way of working. Snow had taught them; always call your buddy to say you’re back safe. It was a rule that never got broken because it was a rule that kept them safe. It was her third attempt at getting someone to listen to her at the twenty first. Felicity knew it was a risk going there but that day she had done nothing wrong, she simply wanted to find her friend. Felicity had all the information she could get off the website they ran. The name and meeting time and place of the person she was going to see. Sure it just happened to be senator but Felicity never cared about that. Not when her friends safety was at stake. Instead she simply strode up to the front desk and demanded rather bluntly that she speak with a missing person’s officer. “And no I am not leaving until I do; it is about time that you people realised that my friend is missing and is not just out for a night.” Felicity snapped at the desk sergeant as she watched the woman closely. “So you make a call or I will be here all day until someone looks into her case.” Felicity proceeded to tap her nails on the desk knowing it would be annoying but she wanted answers, not the run around and the usual story. Loki was told there was a woman kicking up some kind of fuss about wanting to speak to a missing persons officer. Great, that was probably just code for she wanted to yell at a missing persons officer. He sighed and rolled his eyes before he stood up from his desk less than enthusiastically. He made his way to where Felicity had been left standing on her own for a while waiting as the desk sergeant went to find him. Loki looked the part in his ensemble comprising of black khaki pants and a white shirt that was buttoned all the way up to the top, discreetly covering the majority of the tattoo he had on his neck. He ran a hand through his slicked back hair as he approached the woman from behind, dropping his attitude and swapping it for a very professional demeanor. "Ma'am." He said, make his presence known. "I'm Detective Loki. I understand you want to speak with someone from the Missing Persons Unit." He rested a hand on his side as he looked at the lady with a double blink, "What is it regarding?"Tag: Felicity Jones . |

Felicity just wanted someone to listen to her, was it too much to ask the supposed protectors of the city to listen to the fact that one of her friends was gone? So much for protect and serve in the community when enough of the girls kept that precinct happy on a weekend or week day depending on the cop. Felicity was about three steps away from making that call, the call that would mean a string of blackmail texts and images until a cop listened to her and did something. It was only when she heard voice that she turned to see a man who looked every part of a cop. Professional which was great though really she wanted to bite his head off the minute he spoke. Anything other than Ma’am and she would have been arrested for kicking the guys backside as far as she could. Felicity just gave the man her well practiced look of seriously. “What’s it regarding... well officer I’ve got chewing gum on my shoe and wondered if you could help me with that?” Felicity asked putting on her best helpless female voice. Of course she was being overly rule and sarcastic but then again she had nothing to lose here really. “I am looking for my friend, she’s missing and no one is taking me seriously right now.” Felicity explained trying not to glare as she held out the photo she had of Ashley. “Before we go any further, yeah she’s an escort but we are people too so you had better listen to me right now. She is missing and has been for three days.” She announced trying to keep her voice void of all panic. It would do no good and showing any weakness to a cop, no it was never going to happen. “You have to look at her case, something is wrong she always calls me and she never checked in. I know we’re not a high priority for the department but please. You have to do something.” Felicity asked trying not to plead either but the tones were there despite her obvious efforts to stop them. “What’s it regarding... well officer I’ve got chewing gum on my shoe and wondered if you could help me with that?” And there it was, the scathing sarcasm that cut like a little knife. Loki breathed in and glanced at the floor, bitting his tongue as he shifted his weight on his feet trying to keep a professional air, though the brusque detective all but rolled his eyes and half switched off. But when Felicity told him her friend was missing he started taking her much more seriously. He took the photo she held out and looked at it before turning his eyes back to Felicity, listining as she went on. Loki didn't flinch when she stated that her friend was an escort, but his brow raised ever so slightly when he heard she had been missing for a whole three days. "Three days?" He noted, taking her very seriously. He could hear the emotions Felicity was trying to hide in her voice and mask on her face as she talked and practically pleaded with him to look for her friend. Something that bothered him inside more than her initial rudeness had. It bothered him because it shouldn't have been necessary at all, the other officers shouldn't have brushed off the previous reports because of the womans profession and Loki would definitely be tearing a few officers some new ones later. Loki looked at her with a double blink, "I hear what your saying. Your friend is missing and I'm going to look into it. Here's what I need you to do, I need you to come with me and file an official report." He turned and began to lead her down the corridor, "I didn't catch your name." Loki stopped at a witness interview room and opened the door for Felicity, letting her enter first before he followed in behind her. Someone had been missing for three days and that ranked as high a priority as any case, the fact that she and Felicity were escorts had no bearing on the case and how he was going to treat it or how he was going to treat Felicity. "Have a seat." He said motioning casually to the chair at the end of the large table, purposely giving her the seat at the head of the table and taking the seat himself at the side of the table. It was a psychological technique he used on witnesses and victims to help them feel more at ease and relaxed during interviews. The head of the table was usually considered the seat of prominence and it helped to give interviewees a sense of control without them realizing it. Loki shuffled his chair closer to the table and placed a report form in front of himself. "Would you like some water or some coffee before we get started?" He offered. Again it was just part of the process of making her feel comfortable and not like a suspect in the sterile and utilitarian room. "I'm going to ask you some questions and it's important that you answer honestly and as accurately as possible. If you are not sure about something or you don't know say so." He explained, keeping his tone professional as he could without sounding bossy. Tag: Felicity Jones . |

If you saw one cop, you saw all cops and Felicity had seen her fair share as an arrestee and also the entertainer of more than a few familiar faces within that precinct. It was a reason that they might dismiss her because really what was one missing escort to the world but to Felicity that one missing escort was her world and a world she wanted back. Badly. It was hardly the disappearing that got to her it was the thought of what might be happening to her, much like a cop their chosen profession was hardly a safe one and there were a whole world of horrid people out there. The minute Loki took the photo Felicity had to wonder if he was taking it serious, he was the first cop to do that and not just take a passing glance at it. “Yeah three whole days, I mean not like I was trying to get the word out but no cop would take me seriously!” She almost yelled glancing around at the other faces there hoping that they held a guilty look. The first twenty four hours were crucial and she knew that, seventy two Felicity never wanted to think what might happen to her friend in that amount of time. “Listen i hate to tell you how to do your job but you’re in here right, she’s not in here she’s out there so you need to be out there looking for her.” Felicity stated as she pointed toward the door before she rolled her eyes. Official report, was it code for trading favours now? A little extra curricular activity before he would look into her friends disappearance. “I never gave my name but you can call me Felicity or Flic or whatever your heart desires honey.” She said as it all just rolled off her tongue. The minute she voiced those words she regretted it simply because she was so used to playing the role. The role of whatever people wanted her to be and they could call her by the name they wanted regardless of her own. Following Loki down the corridor Felicity eyed him when he opened the door for her, people never did that as she glanced over her shoulder at him. Felicity glanced at the seat as if it might bite her before she took it and crossed her legs lightly swinging one over the other. Her eyes never left the detective wondering what he was going to ask her to do next. Even when he sat at the side of the table she smiled watching his technique, it was obvious he had done this a time or two before though it was different when it was her friend that was missing. “No I’m fine thank you for asking, I just want to get started with this all. I want my friend back detective Loki.” Felicity stated as she nodded to him about answering honestly the questions he had for her. “What makes you think I wouldn’t answer honestly detective?” She asked in a teasing tone before she realised it was likely inappropriate too. “Okay I will tell you what I know and what I don’t know I won’t lie about. Just tell me you’ll take this seriously please... she’s a human at the end of the day. Just like you and I, we are not so different. You make sure the criminals go to jail and we make sure cops and criminals are happy, it makes the world go around.” She explained feeling the sudden need to justify what she was doing for a career. Sure it would likely end when she was too old or inevitably made that next mistake in life but for now it was what she knew and all she had. David Loki,

“Listen i hate to tell you how to do your job but you’re in here right, she’s not in here she’s out there so you need to be out there looking for her.” "I hear what you're saying. Your friend is missing and I will look for your friend. In order to do that I need to know where to start looking, okay? And I need to start by ask you some questions." He stated, employing control phrased to try and keep Felicity calm. Loki gave a simple nod when she told him her name was Felicity, remaining practically reaction less to the rest of the sentence. She wasn't the first escort to keep playing the part in the precinct and she wouldn't be the last. Once they was seated he flipped open the first page of the report in front of himself and held his pen ready to get started. “What makes you think I wouldn’t answer honestly detective?” This time the corners of his mouth did actually curl into a smile for a moment at her tone. She certainly had spirit, he could give her that. Though given her occupation he could think of a dozen reasons why she might want to be less than honest with him. But given the fact that she had stated, rather bluntly, straight off the bat that her and her missing friend were escorts he believed her when she assured him she would answer him accurately. But as she went on to plead and justify her work Loki looked at her and interjected, "Hey. Hey. Hey." He met her eyes, "Do I look like I am not taking this seriously?" He asked. Though it was largely rhetorical. Given his demeanor and appearance it would be difficult to take Loki as being anything other than serious right now, "Right now I'm concerned with finding your friend, I'm not concerned with judging either of you for what you do for a living" He assured her. After giving Felicity a moment to compose herself Loki started by asking the basic questions, name, weight, height, age, description and distinguishing marks etc. Then he moved on to the other routine questions. "When was the last time you saw Ashley?"(Ooc: Laptop is freezing up something chronic so I cut this a little short, sorry.) Tag: Felicity Jones . |

“Fine fine ask your questions just find her okay.” Felicity replied not wanting to argue with the man as out of all the cops she had seen so far. Loki was the only one who was taking it further than just a futile glance and telling her to wait a few more days. Felicity knew her job and at times it came out before her usual self did, then again the angry shell of a person was best left locked away inside while the smile and flirting appeared like clockwork. It was just her way of working, a smile and a few flattering words could get you places and the amount of times all her clients wanted was a conversation. The bill was still there but more often than not she enjoyed the casual conversation give that the wives of these men or women never listened in the first place. Then if they did she would be out of work and the work paid well for the time being anyway. Even seeing the corners of his mouth curl into a smile for a moment had her feeling more at ease. She half expected a reply about her job or how all escorts lie to get out of jail or the likes but then it was nice just to see a smile. The most simplest of things and it had her relaxing into the chair and ready to tell the detective anything he wanted to know for the sake of her friend. Even when she met his eyes she had to admit he did seem like he was taking it seriously. “Yes you are and thank you for that. You are the first detective to believe me or just take me seriously.” She said as either of those things were true. Loki seemed like a very serious person no matter what was going on though then again he could be the party animal social type outside of work but in her experience. No he seemed the serious sort. “Thank you for that too.” Felicity said glad that he was unconcerned with judging her for their chosen professions. Practically the first cop to ever say that to her either. “I saw her three days ago, in the afternoon.” Felicity explained as she pulled a sheet of paper from her pocket. “Look this was the booking for that day. You will know the name on the sheet and I know she met the guy for that meeting.” Felicity said pointing out the name of the senator on the paper as she handed it across to Loki. David Loki,

Loki just gave a light nod when she thanked him. He wasn't looking to be thanked, he was just doing his job. He looked at her when she said she had seen Ashley three days ago and he watched as she pulled out a sheet of paper. He leaned over and took it from her, opening it up to read it as he sat back in his chair. Then his face dropped and he sighed inwardly seeing what was on it, "S**t." He said under his breath. He curled his fingers, putting the side of his fist to his lips and looked down at the name, silently staring at it for a moment as his eyes hard blinked a couple of times. The name didn't really surprise him, he was far from innocent and he knew all too well how the world worked, but that didn't mean it made it any easier. Loki lowered the paper with a sigh and looked back at Felicity, "Okay. And what did Ashley do the twenty-four hours leading up to." He held the piece of paper up between two fingers. And no, he wasn't changing the subject or trying to quickly find another suspect so he didn't have to talk to the senator. He was gonna talk to the senator alright, it was his job. But he was goning to do it to the letter and he was sure as hell gonna have all of his bases covered. Not just for the sake of his own career, but for the sake of Ashley as well. If he didn't do this right then he risked getting taken of the case...or worse...and what would stop the case from being swept under the rug after that? He needed to know where she had been, what she had been doing, who she had been talking to and who the last person to see her before she disappeared had been. "I know this is frustrating, but we need to look into every possibility." He said before continuing with his line of questioning, "Does Ashley have any enemies? Anyone you can think of that might want to hurt her?" He asked. Tag: Felicity Jones . |

Felicity watched Loki’s face drop, she could see what she knew already had hit a nerve and the name was no regular guy. It would have been easier that way and Felicity would have no issue in going right up to that regular persons house demanding her friend back. With a senator that went a little differently, she would be painted as insane. Locked up for trespassing and her friend would likely never be seen or found which was entirely unacceptable in her books. Smirking at the detective Felicity just smiled sweetly, “What do you want every juicy detail of her last twenty four hours?” She said almost batting her eye lashes at him before she stopped herself. He was trying to help her out and she was shamelessly trying to turn him red in the face. What was he trying to do, find out that there were other people that could have possibly taken her? Yes there were a few but then this guy, the name on the paper guy he was who had last seen her. “Every possibility? Sure let’s not take a good look at the man who ran a campaign on being a family man when he sleeps with a different girl every night but took a special interest in Ashley.” Felicity said trying not to get angry but then this was the first person that had taken her seriously in three days. She had a lot of frustration over the matter. “Do you want her client list?” Felicity asked when he mentioned enemies. “The people she has turned down, can be enemies and those who she has said no to something particular. Enemy.” Felicity rambled as she pulled another piece of paper from her pocket. “This is every appointment she had that day, names and addresses but most are hotels.” Felicity said as she passed the sheet across to the detective. “She has lots of enemies, even the people she grew up with and the dealer she got away from before she started with this particular... company.” Felicity said as she realised she was getting into awkward ground. “Not that I do that sort of thing.” She said though yes she did if she had an off day or month or week. “But the dealer works out of the 32nd district and none of those cops can stop the guy. He hated when Ashley went sober and stayed that way.” She explained trying to be as helpful as possible. David Loki,

Loki didn't blush despite Felicity's best efforts to try and make him. He just glanced down momentarily, squeezed is fists that were wresting gently on the table, not letting his frustrations at her games show because he understood she lead a certain kind of life and had learned to play a role. And he knew that she was just playing that role now even if that wasn't who she really was. But he had a role to play too, one of a professional, buttoned up detective. Little did she know he understood her more than she thought. He had a past of his owe too, a criminal past that he had put behind him but one that gave him a useful insight and understanding into those on the other side of the law. “Every possibility? Sure let’s not take a good look at the man who ran a campaign on being a family man when he sleeps with a different girl every night but took a special interest in Ashley.” Loki understood her frustration and why she'd think he was looking for any other suspect to make things easier. Though that was far from the truth, he needed to look into all possibility because that was his job. He had to look into suspects so that the defense couldn't plead 'witch hunt' and get the case thrown out when it came to that point, and he had to look into other suspects so he didn't let a criminal go free and ruin a man's political career IF the senator wasn't the one behind Ashley's disappearance. He wouldn't know for sure until he investigated. But he didn't speak, allowing facility to continue. He had honed the skill of listening instead of speaking into a fine art and it always proved effective when questioning or interviewing people. She was giving him a lot more that she could possibly realized as she told him about enemies, clients and the dealer as she tried to be as helpful as he could. The second list she gave him was a very valuable asset of information in the investigation as well. Once she had finished talking Loki allowed himself to speak, addressing her concerns over the senator and acknowledging all the information she had given him. "Everything you've told me has been really informative, you've been very helpful." He told her clearly. He held up the second list, "And information is very useful. Thank you."He put his hand on the piece of paper with the senator's details, touching it with his fingertip. "I hear what you're saying. This guy was the last person to see Ashley and I will talk to him." He assured her firmly. Loki pushed his chair back and stood up to see Felicity out, "I'll be in touch and I'll keep you updated on the instigation." He took out his card and handed it to her in case she needed to contact him for anything, "Call me if you remember anything else."Tag: Felicity Jones . |

Felicity watched the detective closely; he seemed a little too buttoned up to be a detective. Letting of some steam might do the man a little good as after all where could a person go wrong doing that? Highly strung people never remained that way for long mostly because in her experience they snapped rather easily when pushed though this detective seemed to have whatever tendencies down and under wraps. Then again she knew she could push a person though this guy, she wanted or rather needed his help since he was the first one to hear her out. Did she now have to be a detective too she wondered? Everything was written down on paper, how much more of an air tight case did he need before he arrested someone for the crime? Her friend was missing and she was sorely short on those so if one was missing, Felicity knew she would do everything within her power to make sure her friend came back safe and sound to her. Police work to her usually meant a client or she was in the back of their car for a brief trip to the precinct. Normally it was easy enough to get out of if the right people were there, the cop who used her services on a Tuesday night or the name dropping of a few of Chicago’s elite followed by a phone call to the husband of an well to do wife. Her record was hardly clean but then in her line of work a clean record usually meant she was hardly doing her job right to start with. Then again getting arrested was far from the aim of the game either so a compromise had to be met at times. “I have been?” Felicity questioned for a moment before she just decided to nod to the detective. “Well I had to do something and information is key to these sorts of things right.” Information she had and yes for the sake of her job or life she might have kept quiet but then her friend was gone. That was unacceptable and especially at the hands of a man that was the biggest hypocrite that she knew of in Chicago. Felicity nodded listening to the detective again, well at least he said he would talk to the guy. Felicity stood up with him but by no means was this it she thought. Oh if he thought she was leaving now, no way this was where it got to the good part. Felicity took his card as she pushed it into the pocket of her jacket before she shook her head. “No way, you’re not getting rid of me that easily. This is my world detective and no office but you’re not exactly the most relaxed type for talking to women like me.” Felicity said with a smile. “I’m sticking with you until this is done so whatever I do remember I can tell you first hand.” Felicity said, “We could be partners for the day, I help you, you help me and I get my friend and I can make sure you can have whichever girl you like for that if you wanted?” She offered given that her only other offer was money and she was pretty sure that would be classed as bribing a cop but then if it worked, it worked. “No way, you’re not getting rid of me that easily. This is my world detective and no office but you’re not exactly the most relaxed type for talking to women like me.”A little, wry smile found it's way onto Loki's face. Oh if only she knew. There was more than once side to him and she was only seeing the collected, professional side he always showed when he was talking to victims and their loved ones. “I’m sticking with you until this is done so whatever I do remember I can tell you first hand.” He understood her urge to help and her presence could come in useful later on, but he couldn't very well take her to see the senator. We could be partners for the day, I help you, you help me and I get my friend and I can make sure you can have whichever girl you like for that if you wanted?” "Okay, let me stop you there." He let out half a sigh and shook his head, dropping his professional demeanor a little and just talking to her, " You don't have to do that." He meant her offering him girls and 'playing the part' to try and persuade him. "It's my job to look for your friend and I'm gonna find her. I'm not looking for any...offers. And you don't have to play act around me." He assured her. "I hear what you're saying, you know her world and you could be useful. But I can't exactly take you to talk to the Senator." He continued. "Here's what I need you to do, I need you to go home and I will call you if and when I need you." He put his hands on his hips and shrugged lightly, "Just let me do my job." And he was gonna do his job. He was gonna follow every lead, talk to Ashely's 'co-workers', get officers to collect cctv footage and he was gonna go and talk to the Senator and ask him whatever needed to be asked. Felicity saw the little wry smile on the cops face, was there something more to this detective that she was unable to see just yet. He would hardly be the first man to have hidden secrets or depths, no she was used to that but then he was keeping it strictly professional which was a nice change. Usually by now a guy would have asked for her number, set up an appointment and maybe booked a hotel for the two of them. Cops too were included in that but she tried to keep away from it though having the odd friend there helped her cause a lot.
All she wanted to do was to help and come hell or high water it was what she would do. Despite any protesting though the minute he stopped her and shook his head Felicity knew there was either a but or a no going to be coming out. “I know I don’t but I have and will because if it will help you get my friend back faster, I’m sure we can come to an arrangement.” Felicity said smiling innocently at him, of course she knew bribery was illegal but it had never stopped her before. Most cops took kindly to her advance unless the boss was with them and she could always tell if that was the case.
People stood a little differently, acted like they had the rule book so far up their backside it hurt. “I’m just letting you know that you don’t have to look if you wanted... offers.” Felicity replied still keeping that same innocent smile on her face. Though play acting, he had to be the first guy to call her on it and not to play into the ideas. In truth she was a little stunned at that but impressed too, she had the right cop to find her friend. She knew that much.
“I’m glad you’re hearing me because going home isn’t happening Detective Loki.” Felicity stated, “I can see how going to visit the senator might be... awkward so what if I stayed in the car? It’s better than home and you know where I am if you have any questions?” She suggested not wanting to give up on the idea of trying to help as she nodded to him intently. “I want to let you do your job I just want to help you too. I want Ashley back, please detective if I go home then I have nothing to do other than start asking questions myself. And I will do it.” Felicity added just in case he was in any doubt that she might just go home and leave him to it.

“I know I don’t but I have and will because if it will help you get my friend back faster, I’m sure we can come to an arrangement.” “I’m just letting you know that you don’t have to look if you wanted... offers.” Her innocent smiles didn't go unnoticed, neither did the fact that she seemed so well practiced at bribing police officers. Not that he was tempted by her offer at all. But somehow her brazenness and her playfulness was a little amusing and endearing...he could kind of see why some men would fall for it. "Thanks, but I don't need...extra motivation...to find your friend." He assured her. "Besides I don't think my girlfriend would like it." He added with a small, playful smile of his own. Relaxing his professional air a little and letting her know that even he had a girlfriend, as surprising or not as that might be. Yes he was totally human at the end of the day and though his shirt was buttoned all they way up to the collar it wasn't who he was at his core. In fact he had a lot going on inside, he just didn't always emote it. “ I’m glad you’re hearing me because going home isn’t happening Detective Loki.” “I can see how going to visit the senator might be... awkward so what if I stayed in the car? It’s better than home and you know where I am if you have any questions?” Loki was not gonna let her come with him and sit in the car. Oh no he didn't need a ride along on this one, especially when that ride along was so closely connected to the case. He was just about to tell her that and insist she go home when she told him she'd start asking questions herself ans that's the only thing that convinced him to change his mind. He'd had that happen with Keller Dover back home in Conyers, Pennsylvania when the man's little girl was abducted and it wasn't pretty. He wasn't gonna let anything like that happen again and having Felicity sitting in his car where he could keep an eye on her and stop her from asking questions and making his job harder was better than leaving her to her own devices. He breathed in and let out a loud sigh. He could see she was being serious and he believed her. "Fine." He gave in reluctantly. "But you stay in the car, you don't talk to anyone and you don't touch anything." He said very clearly. "Wait here." He said reluctantly, before walking away. He headed to the MPU for a few minutes, delegating a few tasks to other officers. Statement's needed taking, CCTV footage needed to be collected and alibis needed to be gathered and checked. After all Loki couldn't do everything on his own, no officer could, and Madison was off sick so she wasn't around to take half the load as she normally would. Loki returned for Felicity a few minutes later and led her to his car. He got in the drivers side and moved the bunch of flowers off the front passenger seat and put them in the back so that she could get in. "Buckle your seatbelt." He said before pulling away. Felicity could only try to charm the cop before her, he was listening to her which was more than most men did. It was strange because sometimes an hour of her time was just paid for to listen to a guy moan about his wife and kids, a sort of therapy session with a complete stranger. Today was far more important to her than that and if a smile, a laugh and a bat of the eyelashes worked in her favour she would try every trick in her book to try to get this cop to hear her out and let her tag along.
She chuckled hearing about his girlfriend. “You have a girlfriend, that’s great but she never needs to know.” Felicity said grinning right back at him, “Though I’m happy for you detective, you seem like a nice guy so I’m happy for you.” It was nice to know that there was some good in the world despite the anger she harboured toward it. Good to know that romance and love might not be entirely dead and paid for by the minute. No if he had a girlfriend then she was happy for him because it meant that people could be happy.
“Yay, I knew you have a heart.” Felicity said clapping her hands together for a moment glad that he had come around to her way of thinking. “Oh you know how I love your rules.” She said batting her eyes at him for a moment before she stopped; no he was doing her a favour as she felt herself turn a little red. She was far too used to doing this as she nodded to him. “Thank you detective and I will make sure to follow your rules as best I can.” She added knowing that her following rules was barely going to be happening.
Felicity stood there waiting for Loki wondering if he was about to stand her up. He had agreed to take her along but then it would hardly be the first time a man had reneged on his word to her. Following him to the car Felicity was happy she had finally found that one good cop in the city. Someone that listened to her and seemed to take her seriously. He had no idea how much that meant to her though she had practically thrown herself at him wanting to let him know.
Maybe just a nice dinner reservation for him and the girlfriend would be a good enough thank you she wondered. Glancing at the bunch of flower he moved from the passenger seat she smiled. “I see romance still lives on.” She said smiling as she slid into the car and buckled the seat belt. “Nice to sit in the front of one of these rather than the back.” She admitted with a smile though she probably had better not to admit to much else than that or she might find her way back there again.
“So detective, tell me about this girlfriend of yours.” Felicity asked, “These flowers assuming they are for her...” She paused a moment as she glanced at him. “Are they apology flowers or special occasion flowers or just a nice romantic gesture flowers?” A man giving a woman flowers was one of those three things, the fourth being a guilty conscience but somehow Felicity felt that Loki had a clear one.
