Sharon had heard from Hunter. It was never good news when a DEA technician called to tell you that your FBI boyfriend had been arrested for murder along with the rest of the Solsbury house. Sharon knew that Thomas did many things that they couldn't talk about at work. BUT MURDER??? NO! NO! and more NO! She was still on the phone with Hunter as she made her way quickly through the intelligence desks. Grabbing her partner by the arm she wasn't sure if she had more shirt or more Braden. But she kept moving once she had hold of something. Straight to her dad's office. Sharon looked like she had seen a ghost. Putting the phone on the desk she hit speaker as she slammed the door to her dad's office closed. "Intelligence can hear you." Her voice shook. She didn't even realize that the IA guy was still in her dad's office. That's what they got for leaving the door open. 'He didn't do this' she didn't know about the DEA or the rest of the house but she knew Thomas hadn't done anything wrong. Sharon wasn't even supposed to be near this case but that wasn't going to stop her. If IA had an issue with it then she knew right where her foot was going. The looks between her partner and her dad were ones that just said to hear her out. CPD had the wrong people. Sharon had a feeling. MADE BY VEL OF GS AND ADOXOGRAPHY 2.0

Javan looked at Sharon. "We aren't sayin he did it. We aren't saying any of them did it. But we have to investigate, its our job. Say your piece, but we are all professionals here, we all know that the evidence is what matters, not personal feelings or opinions."
He was standing, he refused to sit in front of Voight, the man was a decent sort, and this had to be hard for him.
"But before you say anything, keep in mind I am recording everything you say, which I have to do. Anything you say here, to me, in the next five minutes is for the record. I don't know anything but what I've been told. Names, accusations, and the list of evidence. I'm just here to get statements. We do our jobs, that's all."

If there was one unit inside CPD that Hank despised it was I.A. Those guys were the sort that went after the good cops, the ones that had to do the job and blur the lines a little to get it done so any meeting with I.A was an open door one just in case anything was said that he was arrested for. He’d been there and done that already. Hank was catching up on what was going on when Sharon came into his office and slammed the door shut. This was going to be a mess of epic proportions as he glanced down at the phone.
Hank stood up from behind his desk and leaned himself against the shelf behind it. He listened to Javan speak about on the and off the record, Hank felt like making a jibe about Thomas but then he knew better given the delicate balance there was. The man was annoying, check, dating his daughter, check, needed to be shot, Sharon already took care of that so really him being arrested was just icing on the cake but for murder. Hank didnt have the highest opinion of Thomas but murder for that guy he had to doubts it’s facts.
If anything Thomas was straight laced, murder yeah like he would trust his daughter with a killer. It wasn’t often that Hank would fight for a fed or even the guy dating his daughter but in this case. This case he would make an extreme exception. Hank raised his brow when Javan said it looks bad, when I.A. said that it was really really really bad. “So let’s hear this from the top, who’s dead? Who’s accused and what do we know so far?” He asked before he looked at Javan.
“For the tape.” He added trying not to smirk when he said it but still it wasn’t his first IA recorded conversation. Hank decided to at least have everyone on the same page of something. Talk it through and figure it out, just like any other case.

Post by Braden Murphy on Dec 2, 2016 2:23:47 GMT
The pile of paperwork on his desk wasn't going to finish itself, as much as he wanted it to. Braden had been headed back to his desk to start making some headway on that front when he was intercepted. Before he could so much as sit down, Sharon grabbed him by the shirt and started dragging him towards Hank's office. "Uh, Sharon? Sharon, what are you doing?" But his partner was a woman on a mission and his protest seemed to fall on deaf ears.
That was how Braden found himself in Hank's office with Hank and Sharon... and was that someone from Internal Affairs saying things looked bad? Great. Just what his day needed. IA investigated cops—if they were targeting someone here... Braden wouldn't budge an inch. Even as Hank started to ask the questions that would get everyone on the same page, he shot his partner a discrete look meant for one purpose: to let her know he had her back no matter what happened. Intelligence was like another family to him. All of them. He protected family. So he folded his arms across his chest and stubbornly fixed Javan in his sights. "On the record, I have nothing to say to you."

Hunter had heard of the arrest, it bugged him immensely that the CPD held no real consideration for the fact that the DEA agent's were actually working at the time, they were undercover and by making the arrest they'd potentially put their lives in danger. So the CPD wasn't aware that they were undercover but the connection could've been made right or not Hunter didn't know, what he was certain off was that Paige and Andrew were innocent. It's why he contacted Sharon, that and the woman's boyfriend had been arrested alongside Hunter's co-workers.
Hunter heard what she said about Intelligence being able to hear him. "I can vouch for the innocence of the DEA agent's that were arrested." his voice came through the phone. He wasn't working in that moment, but he was in his lab. He heard who assumed to be the IA guy. Hunter bit his tongue, to prevent his usual ranting, he wasn't about to say something that could make things worse for his colleagues. Hunter set his jaw, as Javan mentioned evidence. How he'd like to get his hands on that, he was certain it would lead to Paige and Andrews names being completely cleared. It's a shame that their lives wouldn't just return to normal though.

Sharon took the camera away turned it off and set it on the desk. "Turn it on again. I will trash it" she narrowed eyes at Javan almost daring him to try her. The woman was in no mood. "Two FBI agents and two DEA agents are being accused of something they didn't do! I know Thomas didn't do that because he was at my apartment that night!" she shoved the video footage at her dad. She couldn't fix this. If anything the feds were all over this. Sharon knew she couldn't touch this investigation but nothing prevented Hank or Braden from doing so. She pointed to the phone "The guy vouching for the DEA is their forensic specialist. I don't think MCU Precinct 5 did their homework." She wasn't sure how the people had ended up here when it was Precinct 5's case; but they had. Turning to her partner. She gave him a wild eyed look. Sharon was worried. Thomas wasn't perfect but neither was anyone standing in this room. However, a murderer he was not. It killed her that she couldn't talk to witnesses or any of that. If she did paperwork, it was would have to be on the down low and she knew it. Though she trusted the intelligence team. DEA was iffy and Internal affairs wasnt even allowed to take a mint on the way out the door. MADE BY VEL OF GS AND ADOXOGRAPHY 2.0
