39 , Retired Military, Single
His history he would write to you in a letter rather than say out loud, words laid down on paper quieter than words out of a mouth, yet they say just as much. It's easier too. (more later)
FRIENDS: He lost all of them a long time ago. Either the army took them or he walked away. He is not sure he could make friends again, preferring to be alone most of the time and not a very confident man, but it is something he misses. He is however afraid to lose the very few he could make, so usually ends up not even trying.
ENEMIES: He has never been the most popular of recruits within the army, and bullies kept coming and coming at him, never or barely ever giving him a break. He doesn't have the strength in him to strike back however, walking away from any kind of arguments at any opportunity he's given. He cannot walk away from alcohol though, no matter how hard he tries. He hates it more than he hates his bullies, and that is a lot.
ROMANCE: He's terrified of it, absolutely and utterly terrified of making that connection with someone. Mostly because he is not ready to admit or accept who he is, and losing someone again like he has already lost, he cannot bare the thought.

Isla is open to play! Just a random encounter, then can become friends or not, see what happens.
I have Alexis, too, she's 18, works at a vet office, loves animals...

Isla and Isaac; I could see a random encounter happening at a cafe, if you would like? I know that Isla is studying to be a nurse, maybe she could notice one of Isaac's bruises and want to help? Of course that wouldn't go too well, as he doesn't really like to be touched, but it could bring them to talk about her field of study, as I have thought that maybe Isaac could decide to become an EMT/Paramedic in the distant future? He could ask her a few question about it, but he is usually a very quiet and private man :/

Sure, that could work...are the bruises fairly new? Or perhaps he thinks he has money but he doesn't and she's in line behind him and offers to pay? Or if he does odd jobs, he could be hired by the management at her apartment to repair something?

Isla and Isaac; They would be fairly recent yes, and maybe we could combine both ideas? I suppose him looking relatively miserable and running short on a few cents could inspire Isla to be generous (:
As for the odd jobs, that was before he decided to come back to Chicago, he has no contact in the city that would allow him to pick that back up right away :/

Hey @isaac! I'd love for Madison and Isaac to be able to form some kind of relationship given that they are both ex-military. Not sure how you would want to do that but maybe, if he's struggling with alcohol, Madison could meet him in a bar and talk to him? I don't know if it would be good or bad for your plotting but Madison would likely feel a level of responsibility towards Isaac in a weird sense... She sees the military as a family - regardless of how anyone left it - and if she works out that Isaac has a problem, she would have this innate desire to help. Not sure if that would be good or annoying for Isaac and how you're planning that to go? Madison often picks up guys in bars but has no intention of any long term relationships right now so it can start out in a romantic sense, or not, either way it works with Madison's character from my end. Let me know what you think
