Samantha Walker is an ex Politician or current one depending on what you would like to do. Samantha is the daughter of an American politician. She fell in love with Seamus Walker, a British Royal Marine. It was a whirlwind romance and the two were married within a year. A year later things started to fall apart in their marriage so they had Tess. Samantha and Seamus always argued the marriage fell apart and Samantha left Tess with her father, a British Royal Marine so they moved around a lot while Samantha went back to the US.
Samantha followed in her parents footsteps and went into politics playing the part of the perfect woman. Clothes, makeup, jewellery, family the whole lot. Tess moved back with her mother for two years after her father died before further arguments over Tess’s job choice lead to a very rocky relationship. After Tess had her accident her mother stepped down from political life to help her recover. (But really there was a scandal that her mother didn’t want the public to know about). The scandal can be anything and it’s up to you if Samantha went back into politics or not.
