Steven chuckled hearing Tonys observation, “Oh I’m sure it does but then again... it’s my sister so just watch what you do with her.” Steven teased though he was a little serious about that as he laughed at Isla. “And you wonder why all my patients have the best blood pressures going, it’s because Tony and I just can’t help that we’re amazing.”
Honestly he really needed to get out more he thought or at least out in the sense of stop hanging around the ER and the back of an ambulance so much. Steven just looked at Isla when she frowned over the IV. “Hmmm yeah you kinda do.” Steven replied smiling, “You can pay me back all you like when you’re alive and able to walk out of here. I look forward to it.” He stated not sure he really did but then again.
If Isla was well and okay he could at least look forward to that. Looking to Tony he nodded. “Sweet ha... you try living with her or talking to her. There isn’t anything sweet when she is in a mood.” Steven said with a sigh before he smirked. “Mostly she is pleasant but you know, I guess the IV and hooking her up to machines playing on her evil side. Might need to get her a lolly pop from the nurses station for being a good patient.” He aged grinning as he turned back his attention to Isla as he set up the IV in her arm carefully.
“See all done now.” Steven added grinning, “It’s this much better than me poking you awake every half hour to check on your concussion?” He asked figuring he had better make sure his life was in order before tempting fate. People had strangled others over less than a lack of sleep.

"Oh, you don't have me fooled," Isla muttered wearily, "you're going to keep bugging me every fifteen minutes for the next thirty years." There was the faint flicker of a smile, although her eyes stayed closed against the light. She only flinched slightly as the IV was started, grumbling, "That wasn't a 14 gauge, was it? Man, I hate being the one on the gurney." Just as any caregiver, she wanted to be the one giving the care, not the other way around. And as much as he was berating her, Isla knew that her brother would be even more stubborn and resistant to treatment and fussing than she was! "All right, time for that CT scan," Tony announced, "to confirm that there's something in that head." Grinning, he gave Steve a quick wink as Isla protested. "Hey! I passed my boards, I'm an official nurse now!" That smile flicked again. "Oh, right..." Steven Hudson

“Well at least you know what you’re next thirty years will look like, hate to disappoint you.” Steven said smirking seeing that faint flicker of a smile. If every fifteen minutes for thirty years was what it took to know that she was alright, Steven had no problem at all in making that fit into his schedule.
“Seriously and here was me thinking you were such a tough nurse, can’t handle a 14 gauge.” Steven said with a sigh as he laughed a little. He had been in her position and being a patient was always ten times worse when you knew what you were doing stood on your head. “Okay if you had just avoided the whole precinct then you would be helping people and not a patient but since you are the patient. Listen to your caregivers.” Steven added smirking, despite the fact his sister was hurt he was actually enjoying getting her to listen to him, at least as a medic.
Steven grinned at Tony as he nodded to the man, “Not sure what is left in that brain of hers now, all that studying seems to have taken its toll.” He teased though he knew that Isla knew he was insanely proud of all she had done. “See what I mean, I’m an official nurse now... geez we know.” He teased lightly as he smiled. “Officially off to CT now too.”

((Oops, my bad, wrong thread!))
"Dunno, wasn't horrible." Isla shrugged, then smiled weakly. "It was the sucker that made me hold still, not your awesome skill." Looking from Stephen to Tony, she added, "You'd better have orange or I'm going to sue."
"Just try it, and I'll be the one waking you up every thirty minutes." Tony grinned, then checked his pager. "Ah, the scanner is ready, now for proof that you have a brain...or not!" He glanced at Stephen. "You want to go with her? I'm sure you'd be happy for proof, too."
"Oh, he's gonna come, and he's gonna be sorry," Isla mumbled, "I want copies I can hang on the wall to remind him that I'm the genius in the family." Reaching out, she grabbed her brother's hand, and although her grip was weak, she wasn't letting go any time soon.
