ABOUT
Ben is a bit of a stray, he has a somewhat upbeat personality and he does his very best to try and appear to be in a good mood even if he is faking it a little. He is the sort who will try and see the good before the bad as he knows what bad there can be out there. Happiness is short lived and despite his optimistic outlook his is at the end of the day human so he has his bad days too.
FRIENDS
Ben has friends, he has been in the city long enough to make a few. He moved firehouse so he will have friends from his previous one but will need to make friends at the new house of 51.
FAMILY
Ben is the one surviving family member of the Taylor family. His father and brother died in a fire when he was younger, shaping his desire to become a fire-fighter. His mother was murdered not too long ago, after trying to take his daughter away from him (not murdered by Ben, just unfortunate circumstances). The new family he has with Stephanie, Zach and Grace Ben would never trade for anything.
LOVERS
Love is a complicated thing, he is still feeling the loss of losing his wife and gaining a daughter (Grace Taylor) in the same day. He has always been cautious about but open to the possibility if not a little protective of any prospect. Which is what Stephanie Taylor has found since the two started dating. Ben is now married to Stephanie Taylor after a whirlwind year. He could never be without her and she is the one person who opened his eyes to what he had been missing in his life all this time.
