She was trying to make the transition out of her current job and into something that had her home more with Josiah but things were getting kind of tricky. She had job offers to consider and Esau did too. It was frustrating and she’d been kind of bottling up with everything. Rather than kick the living pulp out of the punching bag, she’d decided to take Josiah to the park.

The Israeli had a lot on her mind, but Josiah was reason for a lot of the decisions running through her mind right now. He was older now, enough that he was in school but that wasn’t it. Her job and Esau’s were dangerous and the thought of making things difficult on Josiah if something were to happen. No… she’d lost both her parents because of their jobs, their lifestyle choice in career. Josiah deserved better.

Sure there was Efrat if anything were to happen to either parent but Ziva didn’t want him to have to worry about his parents coming home as he got older and wiser. The offer given to her by Mossad (a desk job offer) was more and more appealing by the moment. She’d vaguely discussed the offer with Esau but she’d still not come to decision. Her job would keep her here in the states but being it was Mossad, she could also be called back to Israel on a whim. Stablity clearly wasn’t a thing.
