Kalila Al-Hasan
Kalila is an easily lead person, she never sees the bad in anything and yes she is that woman who would believe anything she was told. She is naive in every sense of the word which makes for an interesting living experience. Kalila has a good heart, she loves to take care of animals and if she had a choice she would rescue every single one of them and take them home. There isn’t ever enough house space for that and it breaks her heart to have to leave work at work. Kalila loves to keep her nose in a book to learn, despite only being young she knows what she wants from life and their move to America has given her a chance at her dream. It might not be the conventionally way of university but classes and online schooling she prefers as she dislikes the crowds that seemed to be everywhere.
Family: Kalila has her parents back in Palestine Rafal & Abby Kaur along with her brother Gurprit Kaur. She was also previously ‘married’ (not by legal American standards) to Shaahir and Saajida Al- Hasan. Kalila knows what is required of her as far as family goes and for the most part she had done what a good wife should.
Friends: She hasn’t been in America long enough to make friends as such so plots are welcome here. She tends to keep herself to herself for the reason that she is easily led astray and has a habit of trusting everyone. She prefers quiet moments and loves the city at night as it isn’t as busy.
Romance: Kalila tried to be a good wife to Shaahir and Saajida however due to Saajida’s family the marriage was broken off for everyone’s safety. Kalila has her own views on what a wife should be and do, she is used to rules being laid out for her to follow and she comes from a place where doing what you’re told is key. Kalila however is taken as far as romance is concerned.
Enemies: Saajida’s father, anyone who knows the previous relationship to Shaahir and pretty much anyone who thinks she killed their pet while working. She isn’t exactly directly involved but then again it doesn’t stop people from assuming it..
