Saajida is somewhat of a traditionalist when it comes to culture and religion. She prefers to follow the laws set before her and not stray far from the line. She finds a great sense of purpose in making her family happy and doing things the way they should be done.
Family growing up was difficult for her. She watched her sister be put to death, and as a result learned to fear her father. Disrespect wasn't tolerated and she does her best to be respectful of her husband's wishes now. To a certain extent, she still fears what family is capable of doing to her.
Oh there is plenty room for enemies, especially in the Israeli department. Her husband is a diplomat, so I am sure that she makes lots of enemies by extension. She isn't exactly the type to go out and cause problems but there is certainly room for enemies to be made.
She had a prearranged marriage but she lucky for Shaahir Al-Hasan was her best friend. She thanks to her father for the supervised visits. After the two married, Shaahir bought Kalila so that Saajida could focus on her studies. She grew close to Kalila. After her father took Saajida hostage, Shaahir divorced Kalila.
