Shani’s fingers trailed around the rim of a crystal bowl, small delicate green ivy leaves ran up the sides connected by a gold stem with a frosted glass effect making it one of the loveliest things she had seen. It caught her attention though to her it seemed a priceless treasure however with two children under ten and the possibility the item might not last the week, the price tag for the item was steep. Her fingers left the crystal where it was, her figure moving gracefully around a home decorating store. Time was something she had and after spending her leave after the accident being stuck in front of a television watching day time telly her mind had wondered to the idea of decorating.
Luckily for Chicago her mood was quite upbeat and happy as she trailed out of a shop onto the main walk ways. She had little idea of where she would go, she was just happy to be out for a while as her husband had the children for the day. What was the harm in looking around for a while, she was human herself and so she could enjoy the delights of shopping for a while.
It was a picture of a desert scene that caught her attentions next that hung beautifully in a shop window. Watching everyone on the street pass by she only wished she could manage to get home for a while, how peaceful and oblivious it seemed to her. She could barely stop herself wondering if it was a good idea as she loved Chicago but there were times when she missed being home as she stared into the window aimlessly. Tearing her eyes away from the picture she walked a little further down the pathway her fingers toying with a thread that had been pulled up on her blue sweater.
She could hardly focus on the task of gathering new household objects, Shani for one had no idea what she was doing let alone what went with what. Above all she was practical and yet this was an attempt at trying to get a few things that were different for the house. No child related or dog proof, simply something that both adults in the place could appreciate and yet the things she looked at as she wondered down the street related back to child proof, dog proof, could it be broken easily? The same usual three things she thought with every purchase. It was perhaps safer to check wallpaper or paint in an attempt to freshen up the house as she wondered into another home store.
