Lara is naturally extroverted and affectionate but life and her experiences over the years have made her more withdrawn and introverted. Following the loss of her family Lara is spiraling and her moral compass has been left spinning a little. She takes risks and actively runs head first into danger with no or little regard about the consequences so not many people tent to spend too much time around her, but if anyone takes the time and effort to get past the walls and the craziness they will find Lara to be the most loyal and dependable friend they could ask for.
She prefers male company as she has more in common with men, as well as a history of women being catty or mean towards her.
She is patient but lying to her will instantly put her off and will make forming a friendship with her that much more difficult.

Lara longs to love and be loved and her greatest desire is to find someone to spend the rest of her life with and raise a family. But after too many bad experiences over the years Lara has been left with trust issues and a lot of baggage and she decided to give up dating several years ago.
So if anyone is interested they will need to work hard to woo her, and if they manage to succeed they will get all the affection and devotion Lara has to offer, as well as the fun of seeing her insecurities and insane jealousy issues in all their splendid glory.

Again Lara is pretty patient and will take a lot from people, she is willing to get on with anyone who is willing to get on with her, and has a live and let live attitude under most circumstances. However messing with someone she cares about will land a person on her wrong side for sure, and she can also give as good as she gets when it comes to catty women.
There are a few people in her past that she hopes to never see again, but they are just people who have wronged her more than actual enemies. Though she does have a personal nemesis in her former best friend Sofie Reid after the woman betrayed her following a misunderstanding over a man of all things.

Totally think Madison and Lara DunCroft, would get on as they both prefer to associate with men rather than girly girls - so these two might actually be two girls that like the company of each other lol.

Sorry, I didn't see this last night.

I think the pair could get along. They have a few things in common but, they are also rather different in a few ways too which could be fun to navigate.
I see there being just a little bit of awkwardness between them at first maybe? Like small gaps of awkward silence here and there because they are still getting used to each other and are still getting know each other better kind of thing.

It would do Lara good to have a gal pal (maybe the pair could even bring each others girly sides out a little), though I am not entirely sure what they would get up to together lol. Lara doesn't date so they can't exactly go out scouting for men together lol, but I'm sure they will find a common interest they can share!

Lara needs a thread as she isn't in any right now, so I'd be happy to throw the two in together
Although I might have my hands full if I start a Lara and a Matt thread with you right now.
I could do both I just as long as you would be ok with them being at the bottom of the reply pile (unless muse decides otherwise haha). But if we do just one I would say let's do a Lara/Madison thread, unless of course you prefer Matt?

Definitely, I like all of those ideas - the awkwardness, the slightly stilted conversation. Maybe they could work on a case together or something? As an intern - what are Lara's main responsibilities that might bring her into contact with Madison?

And I honestly don't mind between the two - I don't want to stretch you too thin We can always plan something for later with one of them and hold off until some of the others we have have finished. I honestly don't mind - just feeling my way to get Madison a little more involved. I felt like she was just attached to Loki and needed to spread her wings a little bit...

Uh, that is a mistake. It's supposed to say Homicide Detective not intern, I'll have to get that sorted.
I have had Lara as a cop on a few forums but when I brought her over here I decided to make her a doctor, well an intern. But I soon regretted that decision and I changed her back to a being a cop, a homicide detective this time round

But her job is to investigate murders, and murder is often violent, so there would be a lot of reasons we could come up with to have Homicide and Violent Crimes collaborate.
Truth is I hadn't played Lara for a while before I moved her over here and after the intern/cop change I am need to get a feel for her again so putting them both in a thread together could be good practice for us both to get a handle on our chars.

I want to get Lara into a thread, she's been neglected for too long lol but I'm excited for the Matt/Madison card/drinking game idea too hehe.
Logic says "we should do one then the other" but muse says "screw it #throwanotheroneonthepile!" lol
I am happy to do both (even though I shouldn't) if you don't have too many threads to keep up with.

Otherwise I am just as happy to do one then the other if you want and I don't mine which one first. Close eyes and point, flip a coin, whatever

Haha - I understand. I've transferred characters before and it takes a few goes to feel them out as it were.

I'm totally a #throwanotheroneonthepile kinda gal but it's entirely up to you. I probably have a bit more time, working from home and I'm pretty quick with my posts because I'm a speedy typer, so more threads doesn't worry me at all. It's entirely up to you. I like the idea of both threads (Matt's drinking game a little more but only because it has more detail so far) and I'm happy with either. We can do both together or one of them can wait until the other is done. I really don't mind

Now I've got my RP load under control I have room for one more thread for either Lara or Matt.

I have no specific ideas but I would like to get Lara into some kind of trouble or fun situation where she can try and get herself killed with one crazy stunt or another.

I thought a work thread might be best as all of Lara's social threads seem to die. I'm open to ideas so if anyone is interested let me know here or PM Matt's account
