Sometime later, Devon followed Teresa to her house. Can't believe I'm doing this, he thought to himself. Not that he was going to put a stop to it. He wanted it. He wanted her. Damn, she was gorgeous. And from what he could tell, she was into him too. Once they got to her place, he got out of his car and then went to her, going to pull her close. Yes, they had only been apart for a few minutes but that was too long a time. He wanted---no, he needed---her. Damn, the things she's doing to me, he thought to himself. Did she even realize what she was doing? Probably not, but that was okay. She'd know soon enough.
He pushed this thought aside as he went to kiss her, hoping she'd allow it. Was this risky and foolhardy? Absolutely, but honestly, he was a little drunk and didn't really care. Not that he was so drunk that he didn't know what he was doing, no, he was in full control of his faculties. He just wanted her that badly. Hopefully, he wasn't about to get his ass kicked for overstepping. Then again, she had invited him here, so probably not.

Teresa was lost from the moment they stepped out of the car, everything that had gone on behind closed doors had not been unwelcomed. In fact, she had been the one steer heading the whole thing. Teresa took a shower and then fell asleep. She woke up on Devon’s chest the next morning. “Good morning Sunshine.” She coyed. Lifting her head she played with his hair. “Did you sleep well?” She offered. Okay so she hadn’t gone anywhere and he was still here? Most men were gone by morning time. Then again Teresa did have a reputation and she didn’t care what others had to say. She was just lucky that her father wasn’t any the wiser to her reputation or he would have her head.

The next thing Devon was aware of was that there was a weight on his chest. What the...? he wondered as his eyes fluttered open. Then he grinned as he saw Teresa who greeted him, calling him "Sunshine". "Morning, Gorgeous," he said, going to kiss her on the lips. Wow. Not a dream? he thought to himself. Last night had been....wow. It had been nice. He was just surprised that he had been so lucky. How had he gotten so lucky? It didn't make sense. He was too damaged to be lucky enough to get such a beautiful woman like Teresa. And yet...here he was.
When she asked him if he had slept well, he nodded. "Yeah, I did," he confirmed. "You?" Hope we can do this again sometime, he thought to himself. Was it bad that he wanted a repeat of last night? Hopefully not. But he had to admit, it was something that he wanted really bad.

Teresa returned the kiss of her long time friend. Though she smiled through hearing someone compliment her. It was a nice change of pace with everything going on in her life. Content sighs rang through her tones as she snuggled onto his shoulder. Teresa smiled playing with his hair. “Why wouldn’t I?” she teased lightly as she didn’t move. She didn’t want him to wake up. She wanted to lay here until she absolutely had to get out of bed. The woman shook her head and reached up kissing him again. “For the record, I am comfortable and not moving.” she pointed out.

He grinned as she asked why she wouldn't have slept good. "You're in a strange place and from what I recall people telling me, I tend to move around and kick in my sleep," he responded. Yes, he was a restless sleeper. He could admit that. Which was why when he was in a relationship, he hardly let anyone stay in his bed afterwards. No one wanted to be kicked by their significant other and he would rather not do that to Teresa.
He then chuckled as she told him that she was comfortable and not moving. "Works for me," he stated, going to give her another kiss. He didn't want her to move. No, he wanted to stay like this for as long as they could. Was that so wrong? Hopefully, it wasn't. Never been happier, he thought to himself. How had he gotten so lucky? It didn't make sense. But he had and he wasn't going to complain.
