MARK HAWORTH
41, French Teacher, Divorced
Mark is an only child, born and, for the most part, raised in Vermont. For the most part, because most of his summers were spent in Canada in the family's vacation home, a family tradition he carried on with his own family in later years. Although initially, his father made the trip for fishing, and he never really liked the activity. All fishing aside, this tradition allowed him to be introduced to French early on, and ever since, he had an interest for the language that pushed him to learn more of it. He lived in Vermont for the whole of his childhood years, up to the end of high school, at which point he moved to Washington to pursue his education. He ended up becoming a teacher, teaching the language he had learned as a kid in High School.
FRIENDS: Mark, although of a quiet and slightly reclusive persuasion, is a very kind and considerate man that likes to get to know people. Even if it's just the little things. He is very polite, were it to be with new faces or people he has known for a while, and is genuinely interested in what people have to say, so tends to ask questions more than talk per say. However, he tends to stay away from the people that are boisterous and love to make scenes.
ENEMIES: As a high school teacher, making enemies is particularly hard, at least, when not considering his students on days where he gives them assignments. Keeping to himself he rarely mixes in with the others teachers, and other than the captains and coaches of rival teams in both hockey and baseball, he rarely experiences animosity.
ROMANCE: Being that his divorce is relatively recent, and much to his daughter's multiple attempts at having him meet new people, he hasn't had anyone ever since. Not particularly interested in actively looking for someone, he is, however, not impervious to the charms of both men and women, but again, flirtatious attempts might go over his head as he's not actively thinking about that. If one of you ever come across the dating profile his daughter set up for him behind his back and could be interested, let me know, but that might not turn out as expected.
