Felicity was oddly without a date for that night. A Wednesday night seemed to be a quiet one so far and with that in mind she thought she might find business the way she used to. Propped up in the corner of the casino she surveyed the room with a welcoming gaze. She was hardly short on cash but maybe just someone interesting for the evening might be more her speed. Too much quiet time to herself lead to thinking and the last few times that had happened; it led down a road she wanted to steer clear of.
Needless to say losing what money she had with her on a few of the tables at the casino seemed to what was in order. She had done just that for a few hours so far, three drinks later and she had found that corner table where she could read the room with ease. It was fairly easy to see the stag party tearing up the tables at the other side of the room, the couple looking for a sophisticated evening which the stag party soon lowered the tone of. The business man sitting at the bar drowning whatever bad day had gone by.
Then there were those professional gamblers, the ones who thought they had it all figured out until they made that bet too far and the money was gone. It was an interesting evening considering hers was so quiet so far. With that in mind Felicity made her way to the bar, swaying across the floor. Her heels clicking against the hard floor as the little black knee length dress hugged every inch of her. Dropping the silver clutch onto the bar she ordered her martini as she waited patiently for it to arrive.
