[attr="class","atar"]Jesse, Colin, Michael, and Sophie were all over at Debras. Jamie had been dragged out of the house, more at everyone else's suggestion than her own. There was a long sigh. She was still working through the trust issue thing; but it was getting better. At first, Jamie hadn't been too keen on leaving for a night without the kids and dealing with people but her family and Eric were right, she needed to get out. Jamie was hanging on Bobby's arm her head nestled in her shoulder. While her depression wasn't gone her drunking had simmered down. Though she was starting to be more distrustful of people.
Jamie caught sight of Eric and a blonde woman. Amanda was piggy backed onto his back. She was a cute blonde and Jamie wasn't afraid to admit that she found women cute every once in a while. Amanda had her arms crossed around Eric's chest. No she wasn't going to slide down. "You must be Jamie's husband." And she'd forgotten what Eric had said that Bobby's name was. Something Oxford. Last names were so much easier than first names for her most of the time. So what? Amanda liked to stay in the loop of what was going on. Amanda was still trying to figure out what she wanted in her own relationship but seeing everyone around her happy in their relationships she felt a little like the odd one out. Even Jamie looked happy on the outside. Reaching out with her one hand - while she was still on Eric's back she shook Jamie's hand. Then, she offered her hand to Bobby. "Mr. Oxford. My apologies, Jamie talks about you all the time and I still can't remember your name." Oh right maybe she should introduce herself. Well this was awkward. "I'm sorry I'm Amanda" Amanda ruffled Eric's hair. This was only slightly awkward, these were his friends and she was doing introductions. Oh boy. | Rollins @eric @bobby notes |

Eric was incredibly happy that they had gotten Jamie to agree to go out, he was just a tad worried about the potential awkwardness of the whole situation. He and Amanda were still trying to work through some things in their own relationship, though things were definitely going well at this point. He was laughing at Amanda whom he had hoisted up on his back when he spotted Jamie and Bobby. Jamie looked good, better than he'd seen her look in awhile. She was more relaxed and appeared to be happy. After a seconds hesitation he smiled and started walking towards the other couple. Not quite knowing where to go with things, he was silent for a beat and before he could start with the introductions Amanda had beat him to it. He chuckled when Amanda ruffled his hair and relaxed a bit. Holding Amanda up with one hand he reached out with the other and shook Bobby's hand, "Bobby, good to see you man. Glad we managed to get Jamie here out of the house." He smiled at Jamie, "Good to see you too Jamie, it's been awhile since I got to beat you at bowling...hope you're ready." He squeezed Amanda's leg before asking, "Hey Babe, you ready to get down? I mean I could carry you all night but it would make beating everyone harder than it has to be." He gently set Amanda on her feet before wrapping an arm around her and pulling her close, seems that he can't get enough of being close to her these days. Yeah, it was a lost cause he was head over heels in love with the woman. Too bad she didn't know it because he was scared to admit it. Shaking his head and drawing himself out of his thoughts, he turned to Jamie, "Deb looked good when we dropped Jesse off, it was good to see her and the kids. They've grown so much. We left our phone number in case Jesse got to be too much, she can be a handful sometimes...she gets that from her mother." He sent a sheepish grin in Amanda's direction, before laughing and placing a kiss on top of her head. Tag: Amanda Rollins, @bobby

it's a sign of my obsession ||After so much coxing and the the likelihood of pleading, Jamie had finally agreed to go. Then there was another matter of letting Deb and Simon babysit the kids. Hopefully Deb won't mind the chaos that came with their three kids, that included diaper changing. He knew she adored her nieces and nephews. He looked at Jamie who was hanging of his arm, planting a kiss on her forehead, " You might as well enjoy a kid free night." It was often they had it. When they did, Bobby did try making of the time they had alone. He noticed Eric coming then took a moment to realise that someone was on his back. He couldn't remember the last time he had given Jamie a piggy back ride. But the view before him made him chuckle. It wasn't often one was on friendly terms with their wife's ex. He could expect Jamie to be poking the eyes out of one of his exes and not be on friendly terms with her. Like he and Eric were. Sure it was awkward at times for him. When the woman spoke, Bobby rose an eyebrow, half torn between amusement and bafflement, " Given the fact she is hanging of my arm," his tone was light, " that will be me." He took her offered hand, " The good, bad and the ugly talk?" His usual snark and sarcasm blended into one tone. " Well Amanda, I'm Bobby." Turning to Eric, " Likewise," he took the man's hand, " I'm not sure what worked, coxing or pleading. Hell, I would have groveled to get her out of the house, if I had to." It wasn't everyday one would see a senior commissioned officer grovel on his knees. Yet his kids would have had a good giggle. " Been a while since I have done bowling myself. I might be extremely rusty for it." He listened as Eric spoke to Jamie. Mike was likely to be working on his charms on his aunt. However Deb was always in a good mood around the kids anyway. Which reminded him that he needed to talk to Trent. From what he had been told Deb hadn't taken the news of the teen wanting to Navy well. you're my sweetest sin |

[attr="class","atar"] Amanda's arms were firmly around Eric's neck, she was still trying to debate if she wanted to make a full commitment for their daughter. Though to be honest Amanda wasn't sure there were days she wanted to run the other direction. She was lost somewhere in the awkward exchanges and then there was Bobby's snark. She nodded her head in acknowledgement. Okay maybe she should just keep her mouth shut from now on.
Amanda slid down from Eric's back as she watched Jamie elbow Bobby and stare at him. It was often done in public to remind him that he needed to mind his snark. Though Jamie loved his snark she knew that not everyone was so welcoming to it. Jamie laid her head down on Bobby's shoulder but she still didn't say much of anything until someone mentioned being able to beat her at bowling. She just rolled her eyes. Pft all talk and no show. She'd not been bowling in forever, but she didn't exactly have time either.
Leaning on Eric Amanda moved off from his hug and sat down to put her bowling shoes on. Eric, as usual, was rambling on in conversation. Did he ever not ramble. No, she decided if he was to stop rambling that something would be really wrong. She heard Jamie talking between the group. "Just because I don't feel like going out you two seem to think its the end of the world." There was a pause before she pulled Bobby down into the seat beside her listening to Eric. Deb's kids were 18 and 20, both technically ready to be out on their own.
Jamie raised a brow when her husband mentioned groveling. "Puhlease you grovel for nothing." It was completed with an eyeroll as she looped her arm back around Bobby. Jamie was very self sufficient and her arm wrapping was far from clingy it was more of marking her territory. It was just in her nature, a habit when they went anywhere. Not one so easily lost either. | Rollins @eric @bobby notes |
