Who did this guy think he was? Brian just continued to smirk at him while he continued to run his mouth, once his Dad and Madison got ahold of this...they didn't stand a chance. While he'd rather not spend his day tied to a fire truck and then handcuffed in the back of a police car, he knew without a doubt that if anyone could make it go away they could. Granted he'd have to deal with hearing about what he'd done wrong from his parents, repeatedly but if he stayed in Chicago like he had planned to at least it would be on the phone and not in person.
He wasn't worried about Madison, as he highly doubted that she'd say much of anything at all and if she did he would handle her. She was so much easier to deal with than Chloe ever had been, though he really enjoyed the challenge and definitely hadn't given up on Chloe yet. He just needed to get her alone so that he could convince her that she belonged with him and was making a huge mistake by running away from what he could offer her. He didn't understand why she would rather be a paramedic, nurse, or even a doctor than be his wife. She'd never have to work for anything and could have almost everything she would ever want. It made absolutely no sense to him at all.
He made the rest of the ride to the station in silence and tried to wait patiently for the opportunity to use the phone. He knew he was going to have to cool it and hang out at the station for a little while before his Dad could get things arranged for him to be released but once he made the phone call it definitely wouldn't be long before Madison showed up with the money to get him out and a lawyer to handle the rest of the mess.
