Kate walked inside the break room, she had a little break until her next patient. Of course she could always relax in her office but since she was pretty new she didn't know everyone that worked at the hospital and wanted to get to know them. She knew some of those who work at psych and had a good working relationship with them but no one she could say being a friend friend for the time being. Seeing the break room is empty she grab a cup of coffee and sat down on the couch. Feeling her phone in her pocket she took it up and felt the urge to call the sitter to see how her daughter was doing but then she came across a picture of her and her late wife. She didn't have a heart to throw them away and felt a tear rolling down her cheek. "I miss you babe so much." She whisper while she flip the photos.

Amber had finally caught a lunch break from the ER. Those were rare. She was tired, when she was at home she had cops knocking on the door asking questions about Ember and Justin. Something about dead cops and Amber had just had it with people. Really she didn't want to deal with anyone.
Grabbing her lunch from the fridge she unwrapped it and put it in the microwave. Left overs from dinner last night. She'd not even bothered to really make her lunch this morning she had been so tired. Sighing she punched the door on the microwave closed once her food was done and came to sit at the table. @becca |

Hearing the door to the room open she wiped away the tears she felt was wet on her cheek. Watching the woman walk inside she bite her lift softly should she say anything? She didn't want to scare the woman either. "Hi.." She said softly getting up from where she was sitting. Waking over to her "I am sorry if I scared you, I didn't mean to." She put the phone down in her back. "I am Kate, short for Kathleen." She smiled softly at the woman. She has meet and introduced herself to a few of the start and some she just had said hello too when she passed them and didn't had time to chat.
