[attr="class","esaunah"] [attr="class","esauleft"] [attr="class","esauleft2"] | [attr="class","esauright"] Esau didn't so much as blink. Josh was playing a dangerous game—and his friend had to know it. He could handle one of them easily, maybe two of them if he got lucky, but not the three of them together. It didn't stop him from trying to process the best way to do just that; indeed, once the team had stepped up to challenge him, it seemed the only option left. His hand tensed before the strike. No—what was he doing? His family was in danger, and he was turning down help from a highly trained team of operators? Of course his friends would have his back on this—consequences be damned. If they insisted on being stubborn, he would not continue to stop them. Time dictated he could not afford to take that risk. He opted for the truth—the entire truth. "I... I need your help." Not an easy thing for Esau to admit, but this was his wife and son. "It's not my sister. The videotape… it was courtesy of Hamas. They have Ziva, Josh. They were torturing her, and they threatened Josiah's life, if she didn't cooperate. For all I know, they have my son as well." There was a harsh reality in play here, now that Josh was forcing him to confront it, to think things through. Esau couldn't be in two places at once. He needed one of them to go to his house, see that was Josiah was okay. "Inbar, will you check on my son? Stay with him? He speaks English and Hebrew." He needed the rest of the team to support him as he dealt with his wife's kidnappers. He didn't know what he would be walking into. "Josh… James… I… need you to have my back." Abandoned Warehouse
The dim lit room was dance for what she was accustomed to for torture rooms. Somalia flashed through her head. Saleem he had… no Saleem was dead. There was no way these were connected. No she remembered now these men were from Hamas. What did they want from her? Why was she always the bait? Honestly, this was getting old and they picked the wrong Jew to mess with.
The Israeli could feel the ropes taunt around her wrists. They did little to tame her spirit. Though soon she felt a gag being fitted in her mouth. Ziva hated gags and bindings. Mostly because she's been here before. The images of Somalia ingrained themselves back to her memory. Feeling the gag get tighter she felt something hit the side of her face. “You will make him talk. We will find your son. Where is Esau?”
Ziva couldn't respond as she felt the knife twirling at her neck. No they were trying to scare her; she knew better. They needed her alive to get Esau to talk. She knew that they knew it. She felt the knife moving along her back. Though it wasn't cutting her skin, she far from trusted them in though regards. The marks from their previous talks hadn't been fruitful but they didn't quit.

For a moment he though Esau was going to hit one of them, it was a rather common reaction in some people, few of his sisters were known to lash out hard when pushed past a certain point. He kept his eyes on Esau, waiting for whatever would happen next. "I... I need your help." James quickly glanced to Josh then back to Esau, he just nodded, not really thinking about what he might be helping with, sometimes in life you had to do that. "It's not my sister. The videotape… it was courtesy of Hamas. They have Ziva, Josh. They were torturing her, and they threatened Josiah's life, if she didn't cooperate. For all I know, they have my son as well." That was a situation he wished on no man, having been there before himself, he knew what he was like to have someone you loved, a significant other end up in the hands of the enemy (though in James case it was many years ago and Somalian pirates and not Hamas). While it would not be impossible to get Ziva back, it would be dangerous and tricky, mostly because you had someone close to the hostage working on the team. "Oh boy.." James mumbled under his breath as he scratched his chin, he had a feeling that when they found the people who took Ziva, there was not going to be much talking but a lot of shooting and retaking of what is Esaus. "Josh… James… I… need you to have my back." James nodded again, "You should know we have it, so don't worry. What we need to worry about it making sure Josiah is safe and then getting him to a safe place while we work on locating Ziva." he replied. TAG: Esau Sokolov, Josh Cameron,

Josh knew that Esau was more than capable of hurting him badly and he wouldnt put it past him to kill him if it was required. Not that he would advocate that option at all but then pushing the mans buttons stood there it wasn’t exactly the smartest move he had made but Esau was his friend. Josh was surprised to see Esau’s hand tense but then he would have done exactly the same if he needed to. Josh just didnt know why at this point, in his head Esau was acting strange and that was enough of a red flag for him to challenge the man without a thought for his own safety.
Nodding when Esau asked for help Josh knew how hard that was to do, if anything it showed character and strength. “Okay, thanks for the update and you’ve got our help no matter what. You don’t have to work on your own and you know us, if you didnt let us in we’d just follow you anyway.” He said though there wasn’t much light he could see in what was said. Hamas for one and they had his wife and possibly his son well that was a really bad day in anyone’s books.
Josh nodded at what James said, “He’s right, you’ve got our help no matter what and we’ve got your back and your families.” If there was one thing Josh hated more than anything was the thought of any kid having to face the loss of a parent. He knew what the foster system could do on a dark day and he wasn’t about to let a kid only have one parent if he could help it. “The video, did you get anything from it? Clues to a location, anything we can use to run down? Type of building, brick work, sun shadows.” Josh knew that they all knew the list of things to look for but then when it came to family it was easy to be blindsided.
“James you know much about Hamas? Is it a negotiation or something worse?” He asked the man wondering if there would be time for words or just taking action. To him being part of the team meant that family was included in that, he’d be doing the same thing for any one of the others on the team. It was just how it went, sometimes you needed to trust someone else to help you out even if it wasn’t the easy thing to do.

[attr="class","esaunah"] [attr="class","esauleft"] [attr="class","esauleft2"] | [attr="class","esauright"] Asking for help—needed or not—didn't appeal to Esau. If Hamas were, in fact, now in the business of making empty threats, he couldn't be in two places at once. He needed someone he trusted with his son. That someone was Inbar. He'd seen what she'd done to Josh... knew she could handle anything that came her way. That meant he—and the rest of the team—would deal with the men holding his wife, but they were not heading into this operation blind. Esau knew all the signs to look for. Ziva wasn't some helpless victim, waiting to be rescued. She knew how this worked, knew how to communicate a message to him. He wouldn't be blinded by sentiment—not in a way that would cause him to miss those details. In this line of work, Information was a valuable commodity—and the more of it you had the better. Entire missions could fail based on a lack of intelligence. "Given the nature of our work, Ziva and I developed our own personal code. I have a good idea where she is."But they were wasting time with foolish ideas that had no chance of succeeding. They needed to go. Now. "No," Esau interjected. This was not his first run-in with Hamas, and Josh did not know them as intimately as he did. He could be forgiven for his question, but the situation before them would not be resolved through talking. Double taps to the head were the only solution he would accept. Esau was in a take no prisoners kind of mood. James wouldn't—couldn't—convince him otherwise. "There will be no negotiation. Hamas is dangerous—not to be trusted. Less talking. More moving."Ziva Sokolov , @jimmy , Josh Cameron [attr="class","esauright2"] |

"There will be no negotiation. Hamas is dangerous—not to be trusted. Less talking. More moving."
It was almost the exact opposite of what James liked to hear, scratch that, it was the opposite of what he liked to hear, especially from a teammate. They did not need to put Ziva at risk by being risky themselves, if anything they needed to take things a little slow, just to cover themselves. Then again it was Esau's wife and James knew how it felt to have a loved one in that position, you just wanted to throw every bit of control out the window, every rule there was and go in guns blazing to get back what was yours and to make whoever took (and possibly hurt them) pay for what they did. He had been there before, and thankfully things had worked out.
"As much as I want to disagree with you, I also know you're right. They tossed any and all chance of negotiation out the window when they made the first move....but that does not mean that we can not use that to our advantage, if anything it can be a distraction for us to use on them while we figure out a way to take them by surprise." James said after a moment of thinking, it would be risky, but taking risks was most if not all of what their daily jobs consisted of, so for a day to go by without any risk would be a boring day.

" What am I supposed to do with him? " " Cuff yourself to him " " I'd rather you shoot me first." " That can be arranged, if you would like " | [attr="class","walkpost"] [attr="class","linescr"] Ziva could feel the lingering feeling of terror they were trying to seep into her. She showed nothing as they began to torture her. “Where is Esau?” The man demanded and when Ziva gave no answer the knife carved into her back. She bite her tongue and just endured the torture. Though all she could think of was getting home. They were baiting Esau but she’d told him as much when they’d given her video time. Esau wouldn’t come unprepared that would be foolish. Fool her husband as not.
“Your loyalty would be admirable if it weren’t for it lying with moles” Now they were trying to get her to turn on Esau. Not happening. Ziva knew that Esau was no mole. Ziva was well versed in torture tactics, they would try anything but they needed her alive. So long as she didn’t talk, she would live. That’s all she tried to focus on right now was taking things one swift step at a time.
