Hank nodded as Dimitri spoke, “Pleasure to meet you.” He stated as he nodded. A syndicate that he wanted out of his city as fast as humanly possible. He was extremely protective over what he felt was his city and when people started to mess with that it annoyed him. “Yes they are back and they are up to their tricks again.” Hank stated as he shook his head, “And in my city, that just isn’t acceptable.”
With that Hank motioned for the man to come further into the room as he pointed toward the board. “Jason said that you could help us bring these guys down with a man on the inside.” He said, “It’s too risky if we put a female undercover officer in as we have no guarantee that we will be able to track them or keep eyes on them at all.” There were risks attached to everything and the only think he could do was at least warn Dimitri what he might be going into if he wanted to help. After all the guy had a choice in the matter.

It wasn't lost on Jason and Dimitri that Hank wanted these guys gone. "I can...and I'll help you all do what ever it takes to rid your city of them." Dimitri replied honestly while standing there. Both of them understood the risks when it came to work like this, but that didn't stop them from going out and getting the job done. Jason watched Dimitri as he said that, knowing how determined he was to bring these guys down once and for all. At the same time, Dimitri set down a few photos that he had of the group. "I tracked them from Bucharest to here....I was on my way to speak with a commander in your police department when Jason contacted me." he said to them before going into more detail on how the syndicate operates.
Across town, members of the syndicate were bringing in a group of young women they abducted from O'Hare airport. The leader watched as they were brought in and placed in a room where they would be held before being moved to other cites. They didn't know of the unpleasant surprise they would receive later on.

Hank smiled a little more warmly toward the man. Ridding the city of them was what he wanted to do and a common goal was a good thing. “Thanks for coming to speak to someone and how did you end up to be tracking these guys?” Hank asked curiously. There wasn’t particularly lots of time to get to know Jason’s friend but if Jason trusted the guy then the least he could do was extend the same courtesy. Hank listened to the details that Dimitri was providing, details were what helped and as the saying went the devil was in the details.
“So do you have a preference to the kit you use?” Hank asked not sure if the guy used his own or was happy with what they might have. He knew that when it came to guns he was funny that he preferred his own or one he had used himself a few times. Technology was a little too big of a leap for him but then again he could use a radio and the communications equipment easy enough. It was that more technical stuff he disliked.

"I have no preference....just as long as it doesn't jam up." Dimitri replied, to which Jason nodded in agreement. Both men had military backgrounds and knew which weapons they preferred, something that showed in the way Dimitri replied to Sgt. Voight's question. "I very strongly suggest that we move now though." Dimitri added as he looked at Voight, Jason and the rest of the group. Gabriella looked over when she heard Dimitri's voice. She knew that this would be over soon as she sat there. After sitting back in the chair, she looked over to Ice, only to hear Jason call for him. "Go to him, I'll be alright" she said softly to Ice before he stood and went over to his handler.
Jason looked at Ice when he came over, then pet him behind the ears before speaking in German. Ice's ears picked up when Jason spoke to him. Dimitri looked over to Ice at the same time, seeing that the dog was ready to go. Jason looked back to Voight and the others after speaking to Ice, a determined look on his face at the same time. "Shall we?" he said to Sgt. Voight as he stood there.

“Yeah we have a few that wont jam.” He said smiling a little. Their military backgrounds showed through in weapons that would be chosen and it was everyone’s nightmare to think that their weapon would jam. He remembered one of his partners who hadn’t cleaned their gun for six months and that exact thing happened. Right in the middle of a shootout and luckily the guy had lived though Hank requested a transfer. Any cop that didnt clean their gun on a regular basis had no place to be on in his mind.
“Okay we move out and we can gear up on the way.” He said motioning for the team to move as he looked toward Jason and Ice. He was glad that they were on the team now, it made a difference to things and he was sure they would be good. “You sure you want to be part of this a second time?” He asked just wanting to make sure that Jason was going to be alright. Cases like that had away of staying with you no matter how much good came from it. The last thing he wanted was the man to feel that he was going to have nightmares because of it.

Jason looked over to Hank when he asked him that after getting Ice's vest on him. "I'm sure" he replied honestly while standing there, one of the rifle's in hand at the same time. Ice looked up when he said that, sensing that his handler was focused on ending the Dracul threat once and for all. Jason checked the weapon he hand in hand before heading out with Sergi and Shadow. While walking out, he flashed back to the day he had told Voight about when they met up at the coffee shop a few days back.
At the same time, the syndicate members had finished rounding up the recent group of young women they had in their claws. The young woman who mouthed off looked around after the guys left them, doing her best to stay strong, though deep down she knew that she might never see her family again. She didn't know what would happen not an hour later to her and the others.

Hank nodded as he could see Jason’s focus as he made sure the rest of his team had their equipments and vests ready. He followed Jason and Ice out wondering just what was in store for them when they got to the place. Whatever they found he imagined it wasn’t going to be easy but then what was easy when working to take down a syndicate. Still with that in mind he double checked his weapon and made sure the others did too just in case. Now wasn’t the time to have a misfire put on any record he thought to himself.
“Everyone ready for what we might find?” he asked as he took a breath knowing that no one could really ever be ready. They simply had to work through and hope for the best possible outcome for the girls that might or might not be there. It wasn’t often that he wanted to pray for good luck but this instance was a special one, he wanted a good outcome and no matter what he wanted every back at the office in once piece later. No hospital visits, no injuries just back at their desks writing up a report to say that all was well.

"We are" Jason and the others replied before heading out. Jason lead Ice out to his car and got him in the back after getting the vest on him. Ice was in work mode now, just like his handler. Jason got him secured, then closed the door and got into the driver's seat. After saying a short prayer and kissing his rosary, Jason headed out with the rest of the group. Dimitri was with one of the detectives, having the same focused look on his face that Jason had.
Back at the station, Gabriella was still sitting in the room off to the side of the main intel unit area. She thought again about the day Jason found her and how close she had come to never having been found or worse. Gabriella looked out the window, then took out the prayer card she carried with her and started to pray for Jason, Voight and the others.

Hank drove one of the cars over to the scene. Driving relaxed him before a task and some might have said it was a control issue which he was sure he had a lot of but he felt it was relaxing. He wanted to be in the right head space and to at least prepare himself for what might be waiting. Smuggling cases often threw up changes and he wanted to be ready for whatever it was that they were going in to.
He had seen the focused looks of Jason and Dimitri and while it was good he did wonder just how Jason was and of course Gabriella. He couldnt imagine having to live another day as she had, to know what the girls were going through because she had been there herself. Hank wasn’t religious though for cases like this he would have prayed to anyone who would listen to him. He wanted a good outcome, not just for the girls that the syndicate had but for Jason and Dimitri and also Gabriella.
Hank didnt want to have to go back with bad news, news of a failed raid or a ‘we had them but’ conversation. He knew it wasn’t always avoidable but for the sort of thing it was he hoped that it was going to be a good result and convictions could be made. Even that was out of his hands but he would make sure that something was done either by him or the courts.

Jason was focused during the drive over, something that Ice sensed as he sat in the back of the unmarked car. Jason was so focused that a concerned whine from Ice nearly made him lose control of car. Jason composed himself, then glanced back to his partner. "I'm alright Ice" he said to the dog before refocusing himself on the task at hand. Ice tilted his head to the side when Jason said that, then did the same.
Back at the station, Sgt. Platt looked over to Gabriella, who was still praying to herself. Since she had her eyes closed, Gabriella didn't know that she was being watched. She continued to pray softly in both Latin and Romanian as she sat there.

Hank was chatting to Al in the ride over, it felt like everything was being discussed from what to do if things went wrong. What if they couldnt find the guys and what to do if someone on the team reacted badly. Hank didnt expect that last one though you really didnt know how people would react. He usually either went for a quiet drink or stayed up until all hours trying to figure something out. He liked to think everything could be fixed with thinking and maybe a bottle of some sort.
“Officer McGuire, everything okay?” He asked over the radio, he knew it would never be easy but then nothing was. Still seeing the car in front look a little awkward he had to wonder if the officer was okay with what was going on.

Jason picked up the radio after hearing Sgt. Voight on the other end. "I am....just want to get this over with." he replied honestly while Ice watched him. Jason glanced back to Ice after replying, the radio still in his hand as he did that, before looking back to the road. Jason willed himself to focus as he continued to drive with the rest of the group. He ment what he said, about wanting to get this over with.
Back at the station, Gabriella finished with praying and looked out the window of the room she was in. While sitting there, she flashed back to that day again. A slight sigh left her lips when that happened. Gabriella never wanted to go through that again.

Hank couldnt fault Jason on wanting to get it over with, it wasn’t his favourite of things to be heading out to. Not that he really had a favourite but the odds were already stacked against them from the beginning which meant he could see problems. “Understood. We all do.” He replied wondering apart from the obvious what he could do to help Jason. “Listen, after this is all done i’ll take you to Molly’s, no arguments.” He stated deciding it was the best way he knew how to help.
Hank waited to hear a reply as he checked the gun he carried for the third time, magazines, bullets, slide and trigger. All in working order but it never hurt to check and recheck because the day he didnt would probably be his last.

"No argument from me" Jason replied to the comment about Molly's. He refocused himself after setting the radio down. Moments later, he came upon the location that Dimitri informed them about. Parking a good distance away, Jason shut his car off and got out, getting Ice out of the back after rechecking the vest that Ice had on. Before joining the others, Jason kissed his rosary and spoke in Latin. "Deus meus, ex toto corde pænitet me omnium meorum peccatorum, eaque detestor, quia peccando, non solum pœnas a te iuste statutas promeritus sum, sed præsertim quia offendi te, summum bonum, ac dignum qui super omnia diligaris. Ideo firmiter propono, adiuvante gratia tua, de cetero me non peccaturum peccandique occasiones proximas fugiturum. Amen" he said softly before crossing himself.
Inside the warehouse, one of the kidnapped women, a curvy blonde from Sweden, looked over to the others as she sat on an old mattress, her hands cuffed behind her back. She closed her eyes and prayed for someone to find her, not knowing what would happen in the next few moments.
(translation: "O my God, I am heartily sorry for having offended Thee, and I detest all my sins because they offend Thee, my God, Who art all good and deserving of all my love. I firmly resolve, with the help of Thy grace, to confess my sins, to do good, avoid evil, and to amend my life. Amen." )

“Good to hear.” Hank stated deciding it would be good to go out in a social setting so he could interact with the rest of the unit. As they came up onto the location Dimitri told them about Hank followed behind Jason and pulled up next to him. Hank made sure everyone was kitted up given he wasn’t so sure about what they would be going into. Overly cautious, yes but then he didnt want to have to go and inform someone their daughter or son had been killed on the job.
That was something he hated and this was not going to be one of those days he told himself. Hank went over to Jason before he stopped hearing the Latin he spoke. Hank turned away as to give Jason some privacy before the man came over to the group. “So how do you want to do this, front door and back door cover?” He asked Jason and Dimitri, “You know how these guys think so what do you think they will do first? Fight or harm the women?”
It wasn’t that Hank was for either option but if they had an idea if they would run and leave the women or try to harm them first. They would know where to cover and where to hit in the building first. It was still a lot of if and buts to go along with things he Hank had faith in the people there.
