Scott nodded as they walked together out of the airport. He was surprised about her talking about her aim, well it was good in one way though he figured for her own protection it might be worth teaching her a thing or two. Hitting a barn was a good start though to narrow the target down would be good. “Woah woah no, you cant render aid to the enemy.” He said laughing, “Well this time we play, I’ll show you how to catch the enemy but no first aid okay?” He asked trying not to chuckle too much about it.
After moving around for so long he had forgotten what it was like to be home, the weather was usually bad and if it was a good day then that just made things amazing. The one thing that was unknown in Scotland was the sunshine but mist and rain was a very safe bet.
Once they were in the cab Scott watched Kelle as she kept her nose to the window. It was fun to see someone so excited to be there which was a drastic contrast from the first time they were in a car together. It wasn’t too long until they were at the hotel as Scott made his way around to her door and opened it before unloaded the bags from the cab. “So this is it oh fearless medic, your sleeping quarters for a princess.” He said as he stood by the entrance to the place.
(Figured see the room then go off dress shopping, it will be fun)

The hotel was grand, there was no denying that, although Kelle had little to compare it to, she'd always stayed in motels when she traveled, more interested in saving her funds for the travel itself than just a place to sleep. Sure, she'd seen places like this in Chicago, had been in them in the course of her job, but to actually be staying somewhere this chic...
"Oh, wow! This is bigger than home!" Her eyes were wide and she was smiling brightly as stepped into the room. "Chocolates on the pillow! How did you know?" Turning to look at Scott, she laughed. "Oh, you've won my heart now! And a fireplace? You know I might never want to leave...and if it has a jacuzzi tub, you're on your own the rest of this trip!"
It was really amazing, and she was alternating between telling herself that it was too much, and just to relax and enjoy it for what it was...he was being nothing but a gentleman, and had made it clear that there were no strings...not that that was a bad prospect, if things happened that way.
"Thank you so much, this really is..." She shrugged.
((Is this a suite with separate bedrooms or just a single room?))

Scott could stay in either a hotel or a motel it just depended on why he was in a place. A hotel made a statement and a motel was more for laying low and disappearing. Pay a hotel room with cash and questions were asked, pay a motel and the person receiving the cash was always happy to accept. However for Kelle it was the best and the best only for her, he knew it was only a short while but still she deserved it entirely. He grinned as he walked in with her and looked around, at the mention of chocolates he laughed. “Well it was a guess besides I think it’s more the place than me.” He said as he listened to her talk about it, well at least she liked it he thought laughing when she said he might be on his own if it had a Jacuzzi tub. “That’s great and you can stay as long as you like here but only as long as you like it because we can always find another place if you dont like it?” He offered, “Bigger fire place and Jacuzzi sort?” He offered with a grin. The no strings agreement was good with him, he was alright with whatever it was she wanted to happen. He wanted her to relax and to make up for the fact he had .. well there was no other way to say it. Kidnapped her at least for this trip it was willing rather than at gun point. Still he smiled and shook his head. “Don’t thank me, you deserve it besides it’s for you to enjoy so feel free to do whatever it is you want to do.” He offered. ((I will leave it up to you but it could be a suite with separate bedrooms like you say or just a single room and they are on the same floor or something, just so she doesn think he’s some kind of nut case ))

"Honestly?" She gave him an evil grin, hesitating for a moment, then, given leave to do what she wanted, she ran at the bed, jumping up and twisting in mid-air before flopping onto the bed, arms wide. A POOF! of feather bed cover and fluffy pillows engulfed her for a moment before she sat up, grinning.
"That was awesome!" Laughing, she extricated herself from the bedding, standing up and shaking out her hair. "Okay, that's out of my system. So, lunch and shopping or something, right? Give me ten minutes to 'freshen up'?"
When it occurred to her that this was a single-bed room, she wondered where he was going to be staying, but was too polite to ask. If he was going to stay there, well, they'd figure something out...

Scott watched her seeing the evil grin as he smirked, well whatever it was she was going to do she had thought about. He saw her hesitate for a moment then do what she wanted to as he laughed. “Oh I think that deserves a ten, an Olympic jump and twist with extra points for the landing.” He said as he clapped her for a moment smiling glad that she was enjoying herself there.
“Yeah sure, and feel free to jump all you want.” He said still chuckling as he nodded. “Sure ten minutes, I’m just down the hall two doors away so I’ll meet you outside your door in ten. Lunch and shopping it is.” He said as he picked up his bag and moved to the door. Well he had offered her the trip and everything that went with it so he was trying to be the good guy and separate rooms, it was only fair he thought.
Shopping was going to be... he hadn’t been shopping for pleasure in a long time so it was going to be an experience. Still he was shopping with Kelle so really was there anything better than that? Scott left he room and entered his own as he dropped off his bag and headed for the shower. One two minute military shower later and a fresh shirt and trousers he grabbed his jacket, wallet and keys before unpacking slightly. He glanced at his watch realising that he had a minute or two to kill before he started stalking the hallway which he did by leaning against the wall of the corridor as he waited for Kelle.

One good thing about being a 'no-frills' kind of person was that it didn't take Kelle long to get ready for something. A quick shower, comb through her hair, fresh clothes and she was ready to go...she really wasn't much into make-up, her job didn't really allow much for getting all gussied up -- in the Winter, rain ruined make-up, and in the Summer it was the heat and humidity -- and besides, it was just a lot of fuss except for special occasions. Fluffing her damp hair with her fingers, she stepped out of the room, grinning when she saw Scott there. "Oh, good, I was afraid maybe someone had paid you to lure me here then abandon me!" She laughed. "Not that that would be a bad thing!"

Scott smiled as he saw her, he liked the fact that she was a ‘no frills’ kind of person. He could actually see the person he was with rather than have to guess under make up or a different set of clothes as to who someone was. He never enjoyed that, it was much easier being relaxed about things than spending two hours getting ready for a trip out. Better to spend that time with the person rather than the mirror he found.
“Who me?” Scott laughed as he looked around the hallway, “Never, and not a bad thing huh?” He said grinning toward her as he shook his head. “Well put it this way, how could I abandon you in a strange country... not very nice of me.” After all he had kidnapped her, driven her to an abandoned warehouse and now a different country. He could honestly say there was something about Kelle though the kidnapping although planned hadn’t turned out too badly as he had managed to meet an amazing person.

"Well, that's good to hear!" Laughing, Kelle reached for his hand, holding it, swinging their arms between them as she added, "You'd at least be a gentleman and leave me some place where I can understand what they are saying!" She laughed again, referring to the few locals they'd come across with brogues so thick that it sounded like a completely different language, although most of the accents weren't that bad, and she loved them! "My ancestors are from here, you know...Lindsay...but that was back in the 1600's...and Orr's on my mom's side, so it's kind of like being home..." She did love bagpipes and heather! "This and Norway, Germany, England...What about you, what's your heritage?" She glanced at him, realizing she was still holding his hand, which she released as a bright blush tinted her cheeks, and while she tried to pass that off as a chill breeze, her cheeks were burning! She'd never met anyone like him, he was charming and funny, brave...and being handsome didn't hurt! Not only that, but she was at ease with him, no put-on, or feeling like she had to be someone else, and that made it all the better. Scott Cooper,

Scott smiled as he felt Kelle reach for his hand and held hers as she swung their arms between them. “Oh of course I mean I’m a gentleman after all, couldnt go leave ladies where they couldnt understand what was being said.... that would just be too harsh.” He teased grinning, the language varied greatly and the meanings too but he guessed that they would both pick it up in no time. He remembered the first time someone had said to him they were going for their messages, at 7pm. He’d promptly informed them that the post office was shut but then was told they meant their actual shopping. “My ancestors are from across the border in England to start with, a long line of Coopers but I think it was originally German and Dutch decent. Then on my mother’s side it was Campbell from Scotland but I think it was more my Grandparents.” Scott explained though he did love spending time in the UK, it was his home or rather what was his home though coming back did hold a little nostalgia. Scott saw the bright blush in her cheeks as he smiled, he had completely forgotten they were still holding hands. Kelle was the sort of woman that he imagined existed and never really thought she could. Funny, kind, caring and of course beautiful outside and in. “Are you warm enough?” He asked deciding that commenting on the colour of her cheeks wasn’t the best plan he might have had. No better to see that she was warm enough without causing a fuss. Tag: Kelle Lindsay, EMTP

"Yeah, I'm fine." The tint in her cheeks darkened and she could feel the heat, although she wasn't sure why, and she tried to tell herself that it was only because this was a new situation, a new place, a dream come true, but the silly, romantic part of her kept trying to steer her thoughts in other directions. And why not? He was handsome and funny and caring, he was taking care of her and treating her like a princess without smothering her or making her feel any less a person... But they were friends, that was all, right? And those were her parameters, and he was honoring that, even more points for romance! Of course, she wasn't going make a fool of herself until she knew him a little better. "So, I guess that means I'll have to take you to Germany next year? Or maybe just the Germany part of Epcot at Disney World?" She laughed. "But I think real Germany might be a lot cheaper!" Stopping at the big picture window of a cafe, she looked inside, then grinned. "Is it too late for afternoon tea...or high tea or whatever? I always wanted to try that, but if the time is off, I don't want to appear gauche!" At that, she crossed her eyes and made a quick face, then laughed again. Scott Cooper,

Scott smiled as he saw her cheeks darken, “Fine is good.” He said glad that she was alright. He enjoyed spending time with her and even if he was trying to make everything perfect for her it was no less than what she deserved given everything she had gone through. His mind was trying to stay away from how beautiful she was, that she cared and it showed in everything she did and she was funny too which just made her that much more attractive to him. Had he known all that he might have attempted to kidnap her sooner. Still he kept a line, was there stepping over it then what if it went entirely wrong? What if she wasn’t thinking like that and he just thought the wrong thing. It wasn’t exactly the first time where he had failed to see what he should have done though with Kelle was it worth risking a friendship and making a complete idiot of himself. One fast way to ruin something was to think it might be something else. “Oh I’ve never been to Disney world but I think you might be right about the real Germany. Then again when do you get the chance to meet Mickey Mouse in person in the real Germany?” He said with a grin, Disney world had it’s good points even if he was old enough to know that people dressed in fancy dress but the magic was still there no matter what. Scott stopped alongside her as he shook his head. “Not too late for afternoon tea or High tea.” He said as he laughed at the face she made. “Afternoon tea is a bridge between main meals scones, cake and finger sandwiches and high tea is a meal like a small portion of fish and chips with a desert tray.” He explained knowing that the difference between the two was marginal. “Ladies first.” He said as he held open the cafe door for her. "As long as there's dessert involved!" Kelle grinned as she stepped into the quaint little restaurant, decorated in Art Nouveau style, with curves in golds and pastels. It was inviting, and the aromas of baking bread and pastries greeted them, making her realize how hungry she was. "Something light, though," she added, despite thinking that she'd like to try at least one of everything, and two of the desserts! But she didn't want to overdo it, and they were just getting started. They were seated by the window, with a view of the castle and after ordering -- she trusted him to handle that part -- she commented, "I want to see and do everything! Like...the anticipation is overbearing and makes my stomach all flittery, and I want to get to things, but then, when we do them they're over, and sure, there's good memories, but then you don't have it to look...forward...to..." She trailed off, cheeks going red again as she realized she was rambling again, but then the tea was brought, and she resumed her conversation even after the food was set out, and she did most of the talking, answering questions with relaxed ease, opening up to him and enjoying herself. And if he was manipulating things that way, she didn't notice... Scott Cooper,

“If it’s dessert you want then it is dessert you shall have.” He said as he grinned following her into the quaint little restaurant. The placed smelled amazing he thought, the simple things in life like the smell of bread and pastries and the day was almost made though it did have the effect of making him feel hungry too. A side effect of a lovely smell was the fact that now he wanted to eat. Scott nodded to Kelle as they were seated by the window. He looked out for a moment before he ordered an array of tiny food. Well it was more finger sandwiches, tray bake, miniature cakes and the like. Small was light he thought and it gave her a chance to try lots of different things though he knew he had ordered way to much but then it was the only way to figure out what was good and what wasn’t. He listened as she spoke about the anticipation and getting to all the things and then it all being over. He had to admit he wasn’t looking forward to the part when things came to an end because he wasn’t entirely sure where things would be at that point. If he would have to say good bye and dream up another way to talk to her, either call 911 repeatedly until he got her on a call out. There was that option he thought. Scott could see her cheeks going red again as he smiled, it was a sweet thing he thought as he was about to say something when the tea was brought and set out. It was nice to hear her talking and answering questions. He was genuine in wanting to get to know her in fact the only thing that wasn’t genuine about the trip was his line of work but apart from that the rest of it was all above board. It felt nice to speak to someone else and enjoy the conversation. He paused for a moment as he thought something over. “About what you said before, about not having it do to again.” He said as he tried to find the right way to say it without seeming nuts. “I... well we... if you wanted to... I mean ... it could be a regular thing we do? Just take a trip somewhere, wherever you want to? Only if you want to... you know if you’re okay with it... and.” With that he picked up a cake and took a bite to prevent him from talking anymore before he fell over his own words or made things awkward. "Of course, I'd be okay with that." Kelle grinned at his awkward shyness, glad she wasn't the only one who was a social clown! "But then, that's contingent on us still being on speaking terms when this trip is over!" She was joking, so far she was having a great time -- he was a good travel companion, easy to talk to, fun and kind, and she knew already that she'd like to spend more time with him...she couldn't imagine not seeing him after this. "I could take you camping...we don't always have to be grand," she suggested. "You know, tents, sleeping bags, camp fire, swimming, hiking, falling off cliffs..." She laughed, but she was sincere, she loved camping and it was something she'd like to share with him. "Have you ever been?" It was surprising, how many of her friends hadn't ever really been camping -- motor homes and generators didn't count -- it was cheap fun, so long as you didn't mind dirt, bugs and bears! Scott grinned when she said she would be okay with it. Well at least he was on the right page there then he thought glad that he hadn’t just messed everything up on the first day. Social clown was his exact thing when he had no idea and when it came to Kelle she was new in his life and he truly had no idea. What she liked or disliked, if she felt obligated to be on the trip of if she wanted to be there and to think of holidaying with her again well that was great as he couldnt keep the smile from his face.
“I guess speaking is a big part of that.” He said as he laughed, he couldnt imagine not talking to Kelle after the trip was over because she was a great person to be with. He hadn’t really had a travel companion before but he was enjoying travelling with her as she made it a lot more enthusiastic than what he would normally do. At the mention of camping he grinned and nodded, “Camping sounds like fun up until the falling off cliffs part of it.” He stated smirking.
Scott shook his head, “Nope never been camping for fun before.” He said which was true, his camping had been military training. Throw him in a jungle and give him a job to do sure he could do that, stick him in a desert and ask him to get from A to B, it was done deal but camping for fun. He hadn’t done that at all, there was always a job attached to it or training or something like that. “So how close to cliff edges do we actually camp?” He asked curiously with a grin.
