Adam sighed and drummed his fingers on his desk. Yes, he was bored a bit. A bit? Okay, a lot. But who could blame him? They hadn't had any action for a while and he was going stir-crazy. Not that he would ever say this out loud. No, he knew better than to jinx things. But to be honest, there was a part of him that was wanting some action. He needed something to do. So bored, he thought to himself. How was it possible to be so bored when you were at work? Geez, listen to him. If someone could read his thoughts, they'd think that he wanted something bad to happen to someone and that couldn't be further from the truth.
He gave himself a mental shake and then turned his attention back to the paperwork in front of him. He would finish it up and then give it to Voight. That would break up the monotony a bit. And that was what he needed. And yes, he was quite aware of how that sounded, but honestly, he wasn't caring at the moment. He just needed something to do and paperwork would have to suffice.
