Gabby watched as she could see Jeff change, for a moment she thought he was going to have an outburst of some kind though without too much fuss he managed to bring himself back. Jeff was turning out to be an interesting kid, he seemed to have more a story to tell than just being a the son of a cop. Then again the way he hit the punching bag she was sure they might have a new boxing champion on their hands. Gabby grinned as she watched Jeff and nodded to reassure him. “Exactly like that, you’ll be in fighting shape in no time.” Gabby added.
It was nice to see someone take it seriously, even if it was to protect himself though Gabby hoped that by hanging around the gym more it might take away his need to protect himself. The last thing she wanted was for him to come back with a black eye or worse. No she would make sure he knew how to protect himself and keep himself out of trouble. “I don’t mind you asking at all.” Gabby said smiling as she thought of her reason. “My first reason was to annoy my brother. Our parents decided that the gym would be a good place to focus our energy.”
It was more a case of hit a punching bag instead of destroying each other’s things. One Barbie head to a GI Joe being decapitated because of an issue or really some silly argument they were having. “They figured it was better we hit a bag than fight each other, became pretty good too. My brother Antonio he is a gold gloves and me, I’m silver.” Gabby explained, “Really wanted a gold but then I had to let my brother win something in life.” She joked though honestly he had put in the hard work and done it all himself. Not that she would let up on teasing him that she lost out deliberately or that she strayed from the gym and spent more time in trying to be a medic than a boxer.
