Casey blushed as Madison complimented her and smiled as she took the empty seat. “Thank you” She glanced at the other girls and gave them a smile as well; admiring their looks. “And thank you all for once again inviting me. You guys look amazing as well.” She tapped her fingernails against the bar nervously as she listened to the woman chatter about men.
Casey wrinkled her nose in disgust as she tried to imagine someone going after a dog. She shuddered at the thought and glanced warily back at Mattie “Lovely” she stated stoically. “I'm sorry you had to go through that” She gave Jia a sympathetic smile as Madison stated that it was her turn to confess. Casey snorted at the description of Jia's pet fish named Rex. The woman sure had a way with words.
“Well, Rex sounds like a lovely gentleman.” Casey stated as she gave Jia a lopsided grin before turning her attention back to Madison. “Oh, um, I'll just just have a whiskey sour” Casey said to the bartender that had walked over to her. Casey nodded her head before turning her attention back to Mattie. “I hear you.”
“Oh, um” Casey blushed as the women's attention was now on her. “Not really. I mean, I did meet this guy at Molly's not too long ago. However, I don't think it will go far.” Casey admitted, tilting her head, hiding her blushing face as the bartender brought her drink. “Thank you” she told him as she took a sip from him. “Other than him; I've only had a handful of boyfriends here and there”'
