I'm looking to break in my new char Jasmine and get the feel of how to play her.
Jasmine is young and so eager to get stories she doesn't always think of her own safety before jumping in with her camera or notepad.
She is pretty easy going but also feisty and witty too. She has a killer smile and a way of getting on peoples good side. But can also land herself on the bad side of people who do not like the media.
She is a reporter so there are lots of opportunity to get her into trouble or to get her under first responders feet trying to get a story at a scene.
I have no clear and complete plot ideas though, just the vague idea of her turning up to an active scene (A homicide, robbery, hostage situation, fire, traffic accident, whatever) and trying to get some footage and some comments while the firs responders are trying to do their jobs.
Or maybe her doing a ride alone with a cop perhaps? To get an 'inside look' for a piece she is writing about the life and work of first responders.
The cop could be either onboard with the ride along, or (perhaps more fun) doesn't want to do it but has been ordered to do it by superiors who think it will help improve the departments PR.
As I say they are just a couple of loose ideas, I'm open to suggestions and other ideas so if anyone wants to start a thread please let me know.
