“Careful Camden,” Camden looked at her hand with a wry smirk, waiting to see what she was going to come out with, and there was light a chuckling from some of the group when she warned that she had contacts. But it was all in good fun and Camden just smiled, it was just cheeky banter and he was glad she had took it as such. Madison nodded when Jazz said why she had decided to move, "No." She replied when Jazz asked if they were all native to Chicago. "I moved here from Colorado a few years ago. And my parter here transfered her from nowhere Pennsylvania." She said putting her hand on Loki's shoulder. Loki just rolled his eyes lightly then took some of his drink. He wouldn't quite call Conyers nowhere, though is was a rather modest and quiet place compared to Chicago. "I am a native born though, and Hovo has lived here more or less his whole life." Davin replied. "And Chicago is a very interesting place, big city like this is never quiet." Hovo agreed. "Yep, never a dull moment." Loki chimed in with a dull smirk. It was certainly a change of pace for him, but one he had welcomed and one he had adapted well to, for the most part anyway. Though working in a big metropolis like Chicago did come with it's challenges, not that small places like Conyers were in their own bubble and didn't have the same kind of crimes as the big cities did, they just had them on a smaller scale. When the two girls, Anna Dover and Joy Birch, were abducted on Thanksgiving it shook Conyers to it's core and was the biggest case Loki had ever been assigned up until that point, where as a case like that was just considered another day at the office in the Missing Person Unit here in Chicago. "But I bet you have your share of stories with NCIS." He added, leaning forwards casually and looking over to Jazz. Knowing she must have seen some 'interesting' things during her time with NCIS. it's a sign of my obsession ||Camden’s reaction would have caused her to spray her drink if she wasn’t surrounded by people. It wasn’t what she had been expecting, nevertheless it was still hilarious to her. Or maybe her drink was hitting her on the head faster today. Which alone was surprising. Yet she did know few people to pull the strings. Madison’s voice was a welcome distraction from the memories her mind was playing with. “I might put Colorado on my trip list. I always did want to go.” She was rusty with her skiing skills, but not too rusty. She looked at Loki in amusement, “Frankenstein? Or Count Dracula?” she asked. Or could be both. She nodded at Davin and Hovo’s words, “I’m starting to see that. However, it’s likely to be better than New York.” One of the agents who had come from NY told plenty of stories that was likely to keep them up all night with nightmares. Picking up the nuts and popping them in her mouth, Jazz chuckled at Loki’s comment, “I do, given they are classified,” she told him, “Can’t say a word.” Being a agent wasn't as fun as it sounded. "Of course." Loki replied when Jazz said she couldn't say a word about the stuff she had seen as an agent. "To the unsung heroes." He said raising his pint glass slightly before putting it to his lips and finishing of the last couple of mouthfuls. "Anybody up for another round?" he asked after putting the glass down. His partner was the first to raise her empty drink indicating she wanted another of the same. "I'll take another." Havo replied, while Davin and Camden good. Loki looked to Jazz and once she had said yay or nay he went and paid for the round and brought the drinks back and put them on the table. "Oh, sorry." He said as he intentionally bummed his partner as he leaned to give Hovo his drink, "Oh, sorry." he said playfully bumping her again a couple more times as he walked around her to get back to his seat, which she found amusing and retaliated to with a light swat. Loki had a close kinship with his partner and the pair definitely had a unique bond, in fact the idea that they would become an item was wide spread around the bullpen at the beginning of their partnership, but months later they were no more than just friends but there were still a couple of people who still held that idea. "So do you have any plans of where you'd like to get, or did you want to settle in patrolling?" He asked, curious if there was a specific department she wanted to work in one day, or a specific title she wanted to earn such as detective or captain or higher. Tag:@jazz . ~*~

it's a sign of my obsession ||She nodded when Loki called for another round of drinks. The people he had in his group were interesting bunch. Jazz didn’t have many close friends, let alone drinking partners. When the second round arrived, she took a sip and leaned back. As she worded her answer, “I know my uncle’s company has a security job open for sure. It’s appealing to go there. But for now, I’ll stick with PD.” She was sure that once people knew who her uncle was. They would think she was missing her marbles for not working for him, and sticking to PD with the number of hours she worked a week. Not mention her own father ran a big business she would likely to take over one day. But she didn't mention what her uncle did. "It's always good to keep your options open." He replied with a nod when Jazz said her uncle had a job opening for her in security. He knew where she was coming from though, when she said she was going to stick with PD. Working at PD could be long hours and hard work for not the best money around, but he couldn't see himself doing anything else. The job helped to give him a little of the sense of value and fulfillment that he was looking for. Not to mention joining the force when he was younger was what had got his life on track when he started going down the wrong path in his later teens. But that was a story he was going to keep to himself. "So, I have met your father, you have an uncle. Do you have like a boyfriend or a partner?" He asked innocently, not knowing anything about her past. He was just going with the standard line of social questioning and chit-chat. After all Loki wasn't a social butterfly so he figured it was best to just stick to the script. Tag: @jazz .
