No they cannot, Israeli’s are passionate people but I cannot even begin to tell you what you mean to me....Every day I tell you I love you and I mean it, you are the one person in the world Jason who is my best friend, lover, confidant who I would struggle to function without.

Jason smiled when Shani said that to him. It wasn't lost on him how passionate Israelis were as he listened to her. "Its one of the things I love about you: that and how quick you are to defend the kids." he replied before kissing her hand as he lead her along the path. Jason looked her in the eyes after he kissed her, a slight smile on his face at the same time.

Shani knew she was protective, overly so at times but then where she had failed with her sister she was going to succeed with their kids. If she had been there and grabbed her or just managed to do something more. She knew what it felt like to be helpless and she wanted their children to have the best start they could in life. Be that being the over protective mother who was willing to kick down doors and take names for her kids then so be it.

Shani smiled as he kissed her hand as they walked along the path. Seeing the smile on his face she smiled back at him as she leaned in for another kiss. “You are defensive of them too and I wouldn’t change that at all.” She said with a smile, “You are a wonderful husband and father and the children and I are blessed to have you here with us. Today especially.” She said softly, any day that he came home from work was a good day in her book, home in one piece and the days they could spend together were the best sort of days.

Jason nodded when Shani said that to him. "And you are a wounder wife and mother." he said to her gently and honestly. He made it a point to not intentionally put himself in harms way and to come home every night. If there was anything that scared him it was making Shani a widow and leaving Connor and Phoebe with a father. Jason pushed that out of his head as he looked at Shani.

He kissed her hand, then her cheek after he spoke to her, looking her in the eyes at the same time. It was clear that he was in love with the beautiful Israeli woman in front of him.

“Thank you but I know I can do better at both.” She said trying to find a way to be home more often and to make sure everything was just so. Shani was scared every time there was a knock on the door and Jason was on duty, it was that pit of the stomach sinking feeling until she opened the door to find the postman. A school friend for Connor or Phoebe but it was just that knock that sent a shiver down her spine each and every time. It was the same with call outs on the ambulance, police officer down and her head would spin with every possibility.

Shani gazed back at him after he kissed her hand and cheek. She could see clearly that he loved her and was in love with her just as she was him. “I dont know what I’ve done in life to deserve you but the only thing I regret is not meeting you sooner.” She said with a smile.

Jason looked at Shani as she said that. "You're welcome....and I have the same regret." he said to her gently. After he said that, he kissed Shani's cheek, then looked at her. "Shani: Connor, Phoebe and I are blessed to have you in our lives." he said to her honestly after kissing her. At the same time, he knew that she worried when ever he was on the job. He made it a point to never take any foolish risks, though he also knew that he could still get hurt even if he took all the steps to protect himself.

Jason kissed Shani again, then gently squeezed her had before leading her on down the path in the park. It was clear that he was still enjoying the time they were spending together.

Shani smiled when he said he had the same regret. She could hardly imagine a life without him in it, a life without Jason was a dull one and one she never cared for. In all her years she knew how lucky she was to have found him and for him to have even taken a look at her in the first place. “It’s me who is blessed to have you in my life and for you to be Connor and Phoebe’s father. We are very lucky to have you.” She said as she smiled. Shani knew that his job was risky but she knew he looked after himself, she would worry no matter what but she had to trust that he would come home.

Shani leaned her head on his shoulder lightly after he kissed her and squeezed her hand. She could see that he was still enjoying their time together as was she, it felt like she could finally relax. No work and no worry about if he was coming home. He was on leave which was fantastic in her head as it gave her a reason to spoil him more than usual if they were both around at the same time.

Jason listened to Shani as she said that to him, then nodded before looking at her, putting his arm around Shani when she leaned on him. "You're an amazing woman" he said to her honestly. True Jason said that a lot, but it was true. It was never lost on him how much Shani made him smile and how blessed he was to have her in his life.

Jason continued to lead her around the park, keeping his arm around her at the same time. It was clear that he loved her and that he would never leave or cheat on her. His family would disown him if he did anything to hurt or dishonor Shani.

“And you are an amazing man.” She said with a smile, “For putting up with everything that you do.” Shani was nothing if not brutally honest with people, there was little to no sugar coating anything as she spoke her mind. Rightly or wrongly and on the odd occasion it had landed her in hot water but at the end of the day she was truthful to a fault. There was never a day that went by where Jason in some way made her smile, even if it was the simple little things it was there and she was grateful for it.

Walking around the park Shani enjoyed the feeling of his arm around her. She knew he would never leave or cheat but then if he did it would be his decision and there was little she could do to stop it. She pushed that thought from her head as she smiled and looked up at him from his shoulder. “So, this time you have off. Do you have any other plans?” She asked him, “Other than being pampered and looked after for the entire time.” It was something she was more than happy to do and she knew she would enjoy looking after him.

Jason loved the fact that Shani was honest with him, even if what was said ruffled his feathers. He looked over to her when she asked about having any other plans. "The only other plans I have is spending time with you and the kids." he said to her in reply while holding her. "That and cooking for you, Connor and Phoebe." he added off the cuff, a slight smile on his face as he said that to her.

It had been a while sence he had cooked for the family and was keen on doing that again for them. "I have a few things in mind that I could make for everyone." he said off the cuff.

Shani smiled when he spoke about spending time with the kids and her, she really did have the most amazing husband in the entire world she thought as he held her. Shani looked up at him when he mentioned cooking for the three of them. “Oh really?” She said grinning from ear to ear at that, it would be the most amazing week she thought. Shani loved his cooking and she could see the slight smile on his face when he had said it too her.

It had been a while since he had cooked for the family and she was looking forward to it. “So tell me, what are these few things in mind you have?” She asked curiously as she leaned into him and kissed his cheek. “And will you wear a chef’s hat?” She asked with a cheeky grin on her face as she wrapped her arms around him.

Jason smiled a little in reply when Shani said that to him. "Just a mix of Jewish and Irish dishes....and I might wear said hat." he replied before playfully ticking her a little. "Isn't it right for the man to cook for his wife every now and then?" he asked after doing that to her. One of the things he learned from his dad was to always cook for his wife when ever he could.

"Have I ever told you that I enjoy your cheeky grin?" Jason asked Shani as he looked at her, smiling a little as he said that. After doing so, he leaned over and kissed her again, looking her in the eye after kissing her.

Shani chuckled when he mentioned wearing the hat though she did like the sound of a mix of the dishes. When he playfully tickled her she squirmed around under her touch as she giggled like a teenager. “It will be a lovely treat, it’s going to be great and I can feel myself getting hungry already.” She noted even though she had just ate her lunch a short while ago. One thing about her was that she loved her food and could eat at any time.

Kissing him back, it felt like she was floating on air. Anything could have happened and she was just glad to be there with him. Shani bit her lip for a moment after he kissed her, “You might have mentioned it once.” She replied grinning back at him as she gazed at him.

Jason smiled in reply when Shani said that to him. "It is true" he said to her in reply while looking at her. "Dare I say that you are one of the most charming women I have ever met?" he asked while looking her in the eye as he said that. While he spoke, Jason gently placed his hands on Shani's hips. While looking at her, Jason though back to the day that they first met.

It was a day that he wouldn't forget for as long as he lived, along with their wedding and the day that their children were born. Jason took his vows seriously and often bent over backwards to show Shani how much he cared for her.

Shani chuckled as she blushed at his comment about her being one of the most charming women he had ever met. “You are and thank you.” She said feeling his hands on her hips as she smiled toward him looking right back at him. She marvelled at the fact he had been interested in her and still was. “You are one of the most or the most charming men I’ve ever met and could wish to meet. The best.” She said smiling happily toward him.

There were so many days she never wanted to forget, the times when she was at her happiest and even those special days like today. A museum visit and a walk in the park that could make her heart flutter with his words. “On our wedding day all I wanted to do was to run to you and when you said ‘I do’, you made me the happiest woman alive. That moment and the thousands of others since then and before I will never forget as long as I live.” She explained happy to simply be there with him she ran her hands over the sides of his hips.

Jason smiled back, then kissed Shani after she said that. "I am glad that I made you a happy woman Shani." he said after kissing her. All that he ever really wanted was for Shani to be happy. Jason often bent over backwards to show her how much he cared for her and to keep her happy. It wasn't lost on him how much his family would be disappointed in him if ever made Shani unhappy.

Jason kissed her again after he spoke to her, his hands still on her hips at the same time. The last thing that he wanted to do was to upset Shani or hurt her in anyway, shape or form. At the same time, he knew to treat Shani right as Connor was watching him and would copy what he was doing.
